Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been one of the most significant developments in the construction industry in the last decade. BIM has been used in various stages of construction, including maintenance and operation of facilities. BIM has assisted the management of the facility to deal with a large amount of maintenance information including drawings, specifications. BIM has proven its effectiveness as a repository for various types of data in building maintenance and a tool to support decision-making in the field of maintenance. However, the optimum maintenance of the facility is not only based on quantitative data, but also on the knowledge and experience acquired by the company and the workers. These experiences may be lost forever if they are not documented due to resignation and retirement. In this research we provide a methodology for obtaining knowledge while performing maintenance of public buildings using BIM and Dynamo application using Parametric models, which provide us with a high-central framework for information storage and Visual Programming, which provides great capabilities for processing and extracting data from a model BIM, processed, categorized into design, implementation and operational knowledge, exported and re-linked to the building elements of the BIM model, up to a BIM-oriented maintenance model with all design knowledge and addressed to the design authorities.

Building maintenance is gaining an increasing attention in the field of scientific research and there was a need for the use of new technologies in maintenance management, , as the facility management deal with a large amount of information relatin g to maintenance, which includes drawings and specifications, lists, and reports, and the use of paper files leads to decrease the efficiency and create a shortage of data and information. We offer in this research tool to manage the maintenance process by using the BIM through linking deterioration models and three-dimensional model of the facility to be maintained, then compensate the external investigation data for maintenance work in these models, to get at the end of this research and with the help of the possibilities offered by Revit database to an upcoming maintenance items and arrange them according to their importance and impact on the facility , the estimated budget for the periodic maintenance and distribution of this budget on the various construction elements , the development of resources plan for next year and up to the knowledge database of maintenance will help in determining the supplier lifecycle and the coefficient of replacement.
The research essentially: 1) Focuses on the affect of the technological knowledge management on the capability of Establishments to induce creativity, and to achieve technical development which in turn increases the productivity and the competition in these establishments. 2) Suggests a model for managing the technical knowledge that is matches with the privacy of Syrian environment and possible capabilities.
The study aims to recognize the essence and the concept of information and knowledge and its roles in societies ' development. And it deals with the importance of information and knowledge economy and its roles in constriction the digital gap amon g societies, libraries and information centers in knowledge management and filling the cultural gap among societies. The study inquires the knowledge management terms, the position of Arab countries on the epistemic society map, the challenges that face the developing countries in general and the Arab ones in particular in the time of epistemic explosion and technological development.
This study aims to identify the concept of Knowledge management as considering it as one of the new management theory that many organization trying to apply it useful of his advantage, also the aim was to identify the Knowledge procedures and cause s of return of libraries and information system to Knowledge management, in addition to identify requester of Knowledge management application in the libraries. The research design was the theory deism as most appropriate for this study. The results of this research show that there was no significant different between libraries duties, information systems, and Knowledge management procedures, also that the most important requisites of Knowledge management application in libraries was existing of three elements which are: organizational culture, organizational knowledge, knowledge management technology.
Building maintenance is gaining an increasing worldwide recognition in many fields of study.as a result; a remarkable shift in building maintenance management from preventive approach to predictive approach is taking a place now a days. That is ach ievable through building of an evaluative model to assess a variety of alternative decisions and make the right decisions, taking in the consideration building condition and the available budget for maintenance. In Syria, there is lack of effective building maintenance for governmental buildings because we use an approach depends on doing the work after the fault happened, that leads to deteriorating in the all building's parts. In this paper, we study maintenance reasons and importance degree for every single components by designing questionnaire, divide the building in to its essential parts and components, and link them to maintenance works. At the end, we get mathematical models called deterioration models assist in predictable maintenance works and distributing the budget, and to make sure about validity of these models we apply them in the dormitory in Tishreen University.
