In order to build 3D structural model for Mamlaht Al-Kom structure in the North Palmyride Chain, the potential reflections were defined like Korushina Anhydrite (K.A) the cover, and Korushina Dolomite (K.D) the reservoir, therefore the time, velocity, and depth maps for Korushina dolomite reflection were constructed. Finally the 3D Structural Model for formation (K.D) was defined. So that the hydrocarbon potential is discussed.

This Study focused on the lithostratigraphic properties of Mamlaht Al-Kom structure, for evaluating the hydrocarbon potential of this important structure. In order to achieve this goal, the time and depth maps are constructed, through revaluating and interpreting the seismic sections, correlating the drilled wells, and appraising the available well rock samples. The obtained data permit to ensure the hydrocarbon potential of the K.D formation, because of its suitable thickness, presence of cover, and source rock. On the other hand, the entire shape of the structure is not defined accurately as all the exploration wells were drilled along the axis North East – South west. Thus these results should be checked by reinterpreting the available seismic data depending on the geological and lithostratigraphic data, and drill exploration wells on the axis North – South to define the depth and structure of the reservoir reliably.
The available seismic data of Mamlaht Al-Kom field were reinterpreted in order to define some petroleum potential reflections. The study focused on Korushina Dolomite (K.D) reflector because of its properties that indicate α hydrocarbon potential. Therefore the time map of this formation was canstructed, structure was defined and the hydrocarbon potential is discussed. According to the obtained data, we ensure the presence hydrocarbon potential of the K. D formation, because of its suitable thickness, availability of cover, and the source rocks. These results should be verified by a 3D surveys and then drilling operations.
This paper provides a major challenge, Because of many bad conditions that effect oil pipelines properties, this paper discuss the ability of manufacturing and applying the 3D woven spacer composite fabric for insulating oil pipelines. This paper talks over the thermal, chemical, and mechanical properties of the final product from the 3D Spacer Fabric and the polymer resin matrix. And finally, this paper gives an idea how and with any kind of weaving machines these fabrics can be made.
This research deals with the study of the behavior of piles under the influence of seismic loads through (3D) modeling using FE-Method-program (ABAQUS) with special reference to the most important parameters affecting the displacements and internal f orces generated in piles. This study has been completed in two phases: the first phase is a case study of the single Pile (reference case), where a study of the behavior of a single pile assigning structure is modeled with a degree of freedom. The parametric study results show that the presence of structure causes the application of a large load in the upper part of the pile resulting from the impact of inertia dominating the kinetic effect. The forces of inertia increases with the increasing mass of structure, and when the frequency of structure nears the frequency of seismic load. The second phase deals with the study of the situation of the group of piles, where the study handles the effect of a number of piles, piles spacing, and locations on the internal force and displacements generated in the piles. The parametric study results have shown for this phase of this research that an increase the number of piles in the group causes a significant increase of internal forces generated at the top of the pile and a slight decrease for those forces in the central part of the pile, that seismic loads are not distributed equally for all piles, and that corner piles are subject to greater loads while mid. Piles are subject to less load.
Annabk anticline lies in the westernmost side of the Palmyride chain, which is located in the northern Arabian Plate. It is a 70 km long, NE-SW oriented asymmetrical anticline, belonging to the southern part of the Palmyrides. The stratigraphical column cropping out in the domain of this anticline consists of Cretaceous and Paleogene strata of marine facies, together with Neogene and Quaternary continental deposits. The aim of this study is to investigate the tectonic evolution of this area, by reconstructing its paleostress history, through analysing the brittle deformations, which were recorded in the outcropping rocks.
