The research was conducted in order to test the effect of each of the filtrate T. viride and chitosan and sodium benzoate in filamentous growth pathogenic fungi F. oxysporum and F. solani, and their impact in protecting the seeds of peppers from these two fungi, and then assess the effectiveness of peroxidase enzyme in pepper plants from seeds treated with the above-mentioned compounds.

A Study was carried out to evaluate the ability of the methanolic, hydro and oily extractions of anise seeds (Pimpinella anisum L.) to inhibit the growth of the pathogenic fungi Fusarium oxysporum and Aspergillus niger. The results showed a good in hibition ability of the alcoholic and hydro extractions on the growth of the studied fungi. The inhibition ability differed due to the used concentrations. When the methanolic extraction was used by concentrations (2, 4, and 6) mlg/ ml at the seventh day, the inhibition ability was (42.5, 50.6 and 64.4)% of the fungus F. oxysporum, respectively. And was (23.6, 42.7 and 55.1)% of the fungus A. niger, respectively. Whereas when the hydro extraction was used by the same concentrations, the inhibition ability was (59.2, 65.3 and 70)% respectively for the fungus F. oxysporum, and (46.1, 58 and 61)% for the fungus A. niger, respectively. The oily extraction showed high inhibition ability, where the inhibition rate was 100% when the extraction was used by the two concentrations 50 and 75 μl for both two studied fungi.
Fuarium oxysporum fragariae, which effects the strawberry plants in the green house in The Syrian coast, is one of the main problems. The study showed that the rate of infection of it between 12.1 to 17.95%. And the fungus were isolated the fungus from the roots and crowns and soil , while is olation from stolons and leaves was not feasible.
sixteen isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceris (Foc ), representing six provinces (Al Hasakah, Aleppo, Idlib, Hamah, Homs and Dara) of Syria were analyzed for pathogenic variability on a set of 10 differential cultivars of chickpea.
The antagonistic activity of liquid culture filtrate of Trichodermaharzianum at different concentrations (5, 10, 20 and 30%) was evaluated "in vitro" at 25 C° against following plant and human pathogenic fungi: Aspergi llusniger, Rhizopusstolonifer, Fusariumoxysporum, F.moniliforme, Alternariaalternata and Candida albicans. The results showed high level activity of culture filtrate inhibiting the growth of tested fungi. The activity was varied with the different species of fungi and the different concentrations of culture filtrate. The highest activity was against fungus A.niger which showed precent inhibition equal 96.3% at 30% concentration. Whereas the lowest inhibition percentage to 77.6% was recorded for fungus A.alternata in comparison with other fungi. The culture filterate was not affected the radial colonies growth of R.stolonifer at 5% and 10% concentrations, however the colonies was fragile and weak, and clearly inhibited the spores formation. The culture filtrate was showed high antagonistic capability against the human pathogenic fungus C.albicans, and the radial inhibition growth was 1.38 cm at 30% concentration.
