The development of Information Systems (I.S) is of great importance for researchers and industrial users. Different methods for (I.S) design have been proposed until now. Some of them put emphasis on the statical aspect, and others on the dynamical aspect. A third category of methods has recently appeared, which try to take into account both aspects, and therefore provide unified view of data and treatments. Also there exist approaches that put the stress on rigour in the specification and validation process. This paper presents a tool (CASE) which constitute a conceptual help to Information Systems design: that tries, on one hand, to handle the statical and dynamical, aspects while providing at the same time, the user with products that are readable and easy to understand and on the other hand, to validate the specification obtained in a rigorous way. In fact, it is an attempt to satisfy both the designer and the user.

Generative models for dialog systems have gained much interest because of the recent success of RNN and Transformer based models in tasks like question answering and summarization. Although the task of dialog response generation is generally seen as a sequence to sequence (Seq2Seq) problem, researchers in the past have found it challenging to train dialog systems using the standard Seq2Seq models. Therefore, to help the model learn meaningful utterance and conversation level features, Sordoni et al. (2015b), Serban et al. (2016) proposed Hierarchical RNN architecture, which was later adopted by several other RNN based dialog systems. With the transformer-based models dominating the seq2seq problems lately, the natural question to ask is the applicability of the notion of hierarchy in transformer-based dialog systems. In this paper, we propose a generalized framework for Hierarchical Transformer Encoders and show how a standard transformer can be morphed into any hierarchical encoder, including HRED and HIBERT like models, by using specially designed attention masks and positional encodings. We demonstrate that Hierarchical Encoding helps achieve better natural language understanding of the contexts in transformer-based models for task-oriented dialog systems through a wide range of experiments.
This study aims to identify the concept of Knowledge management as considering it as one of the new management theory that many organization trying to apply it useful of his advantage, also the aim was to identify the Knowledge procedures and cause s of return of libraries and information system to Knowledge management, in addition to identify requester of Knowledge management application in the libraries. The research design was the theory deism as most appropriate for this study. The results of this research show that there was no significant different between libraries duties, information systems, and Knowledge management procedures, also that the most important requisites of Knowledge management application in libraries was existing of three elements which are: organizational culture, organizational knowledge, knowledge management technology.
In this research we introduce a regularization based feature selection algorithm to benefit from sparsity and feature grouping properties and incorporate it into the medical image classification task. Using this group sparsity (GS) method, the wh ole group of features are either selected or removed. The basic idea in GS is to delete features that do not affect the retrieval process, instead of keeping them and giving these features small weights. Therefore, GS improves system by increasing accuracy of the results, plus reducing space and time requirements needed by the system.
One ofa car's suspension system functions is to isolate vibrations resulting from road on the driver and ensure a comfortable ride. But the design of control systems for semi-active suspension systems is difficult because of the non-linearity of the constituent elements of these systems which make the researches related to it characterized by complexity. So in order to improve the performance of semi-active suspension systems without bearing the effort of designing a model based controller, a control system is designed using self-organizing fuzzy controller based on the principle of delay-in-penalty to control a semi-active suspension system which uses a magneto rheological damper. The controller tries to enhance system performance using the desired response as it is described in the penalty table. The fuzzy logic controller is based on two inputs namely sprung mass velocity and unsprung mass velocity. Using a quarter car model with 2 degree-of-freedom the system is modeled and simulated in MATLAB &Simulink® and the results are compared to the widely used sky-hook strategy. the simulation showed the ability of the self-organizing fuzzy controller to provide good results in minimizing sprung mass acceleration in variousroad profiles compared to sky-hookstrategy.
In this paper we investigate the etymology of Romanian words. We start from the Romanian lexicon and automatically extract information from multiple etymological dictionaries. We evaluate the results and perform extensive quantitative and qualitative analyses with the goal of building an etymological map of the language.
