As a result of the increasing demand of energy especially the electricity , all countries in the world headed towards depending on the alternative energy instead of the fossil one , one of these alternative energy is the wind energy which is generated by wind farms include a sufficient number of aerobic fans according to the required power . In Syria , We don't deepened on This alternative energy , but the ministry of electricity with meteorological drew and issued atlas of the wind in Syria. These forms are distributed in five regions on the mainland according to the energy that could be generated, without taking the Syrian territorial water and the continental shelf opposite the Syrian shores into account. So that we worked on drawing, identifying and creating an invest mental map for wind farms on the Syrian shores situating at the following locations: 1.Raas Al-Bassit، 2- Al-Snober،3- Al-Hamidieyd After monitoring the wind ,currents and the hydrodynamic effects and forces in the sea as important requirements which are taken into account for designing the foundations and bases of the offshore wind fans to choose the best places for building the offshore wind farms to give additional electrical energy , clean and friend of the environment.

The purpose of this research is issuing an Atlas of wind including study of all regions in the Syrian Arab Republic, especially the off shore and on shore areas within the territorial water to determine the economic returns for different sites all over the country where everyday could be invested in each one, and set perceptions and measurements in the Mediterranean about currents, waves and wind so as to choose the forms of offshore wind fans on the Syrian coast. Using of the Syrian territorial water and shore as a site to build wind farms is a way for facing the lack of available areas on land, staying away from the noise of towers fans rotation by this study, the sites which could be used for generating electrical energy were determined at the minimum speed in 4.5 m/sec, which is taken as an indicator to determine the sites depending on the measurements of wind speed and direction from the research centers in Cyprus and Greece.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the wind farms on frequency stability of the electrical power network, and the description of the performance of Syrian Electrical Power System with integration of wind farms in several regions in Syria (Al-Q uenetera – Al-Hejana - Ghabagheb) through the evaluation of frequency stability of the power system and the Critical Clearing Time (CCT). The effect of wind farms on the frequency behavior of Syrian network and factors related will be investigated such as generation technology by replacing the power-generated source by two main types of induction generators, changing the location of wind farms and increasing gradually the rate of wind power. The simulation analysis will be applied on Syrian Electrical Power System 230KV – 400KV, by using program NEPLAN, which gives access to an extensive library of grid components, and relevant wind turbine model.
The aim of the study was mainly to investigate the structure of the macrobenthic invertebrate communities in Syrian deep seawater. Few data are available for habitats and benthic fauna in thissensitive environment, which threaten by fishing practices, pollutants and climate change.
Marine sources are of the important sources of coastal States, where a significant portion of its economy is tied to people who earn their living from these sources [4]. After the discovery of mineral and hydrocarbons ores at the seabed, and also b ecause of the disputes between States on fishing regions, it became necessary for some States to reconsider their idea regarding maritime boundaries and open the disputed files with neighboring States even it is over a small area, to demand re-delimitation of their maritime boundaries, even if it required the intervention of the International Court of Justice. In this research a way is purposed to draw he coast line by using Google Earth detailed photos for the derivation of Lattakia coast baseline and studying its various special issues. The search has found good results in identifying those lines allowing full generalization on the Syrian coast, and also allowing for subsequent research linked to those lines.
In This study it has been uses a network for monitoring the pollution with organochlorine pesticides in There marine stations at Lattakia coast: Fishing port, AfamiaCoast, High Institute Of Marine Research Coastusing Cages contained species of musse lswitch are filter feeders Brachidontes varibilis. Samples had been collected from Lattakia coast. The results showed a great efficiency of the made network for monitoring the organic pollution in marine environment. It has been recorded a concentration of DDTs is accumulated lower than 2ng/g , Endosulfane and HCB is lower than 1 ng/g too. The results showed that the HCH compounds is dominant in all stations.organochlorine pesticides is accumulated mostly in the biota of station Fishing port, Afamia Coast
