Marine sources are of the important sources of coastal States, where a significant portion of its economy is tied to people who earn their living from these sources [4]. After the discovery of mineral and hydrocarbons ores at the seabed, and also because of the disputes between States on fishing regions, it became necessary for some States to reconsider their idea regarding maritime boundaries and open the disputed files with neighboring States even it is over a small area, to demand re-delimitation of their maritime boundaries, even if it required the intervention of the International Court of Justice. In this research a way is purposed to draw he coast line by using Google Earth detailed photos for the derivation of Lattakia coast baseline and studying its various special issues. The search has found good results in identifying those lines allowing full generalization on the Syrian coast, and also allowing for subsequent research linked to those lines.

Rainfall is considered as one of the most difficult and complex elements of the hydrological cycle, to understand and model, due to the complexity of air operations that generate rain. The importance of research comes from the direct relationship b etween the rainfall amount and economic & social activities of the population, planning scopes of the water resources management, particularly with respect to the agricultural development. The research aims to highlight the rainfall amounts in Tartous station which is located in the southern part of the Syrian coast, and applying one model of Box-Jenkins models for the purpose of predicting future rainfall amounts. Multiple Arima models have been tested. The results showed that the model SARIMA (3,0,4) was the best one. Data were divided into 43 years to build the model and eight years to test it. The test results gave high accuracy in the performance, and the model was used to predict the values of annual rainfall for the next twenty years.
The state consists of three main elements: The human element (people), the physical component (the region) and regulatory element (authority). The territory of state consists of the provincial land air region and maritime territory if thestate and the maritime territory is no longer specified with inlandwater but new dimentions are included which were not known before the signing the agreement of the UN convention on the law of sea in 1982 such as the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf which extended about 200 mile from the base lines. The importance of this scientific research stems from the increasing demand for building materials, especially the materials involved in concrete industry. The attention was directed towards finding alternative locations for primary oresin addition to the process of reconstructing old mines as the continues inequitable taking of these materials will eventually result in wasting those resources losing them before using them in an economical suitable way. We can say that deterioration of volcanic products in those areaswas a direct result of suitable climatic circumstances which were predominant (weathering process, deterioration, physical erosion, and chemical like wetness, wind, rain, temperature, and surface water streaming). The tectonic which attacked those formations later served to boost the weathering and erosion degree so that it became more effective for the production of some oxides such as (calcium oxide, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, deterioration of rock components, and concentration of clay) asplain strataof clay deterioration according to geochemical analyses conducted in this research.
This study aims to define bird species that use artificial lakes in Syrian coast, and evaluate their population size for management and protection of wildlife. Four different sites were chosen in Syrian coast, which considered the most important ar tificial lakes. Point counts method was used in bird survey in November, December, January, February, March in 2011. 15 waterbird species were recorded belonging to 9 family and 6 order. Wading birds were the main component of waterbird (60% of all species) in Syrian coast. Populations size was 1 to 300 individuals. Diversity of birds and their Populations were greatest in sites which are rich in food ( especially fish). The results showed a difference in composition of bird communities in studied sites.
