This study aims at determining the Characteristics of the Flora of Jabal Abdel Aziz. Floristic surveys had been made in 60 sites in Jabal Abdel Aziz during the years 2001, 2002. About 900 specimens of plants were collected. All these specimens have been identified according to the local floras (Mouterd, P. 1966,1970,1984, Townsend, C.C.& Guest, E. 1985, Zohary, M.1972). A list of the plant species in the Jabal was prepared. This study showed the presence of 407 plant species in the Jabal, of which 242 species are identified for the first time. Most of these plants are Mediterranean or Iranian elements. There is 16 endemic species in the Jabal Abdel Aziz.

The research deals with city image in the divan of the poet Abdul-Aziz Al-mukaleh.
It searches for the objective dimensions of the image and shows its importance and variety
devoting itself for the image in a way related to general native, national
and human issues.
It also deals with the aesthetic dimensions of the city image, and investigates its
language, music and how it can get benefit of the heritage in a multi-dimensional way.
The research has tried to define the features of the city image at Al-mukaleh, which
are related tightly to Yemen and its history, and that has made the city image
– at Al-mukaleh – more distinguished than that of other Arab poets, like Al-Bayani,
Abdul-Sabour, Hijazi and others.
The researcher has also referred to the poet’s success in conveying his message to the
reader, and what helped him to do that was a clear linguistic form, which we can say about
it: “ easy but rather impossible “. And an honesty of an intellectual attitude which is equal
to the saying: “what comes from the heart pours in it “.
The study deals with the role of Saud bin Abdul Aziz in the relations between Saudi Arabia since its establishment by the late King Abdul Aziz Al Saud in 1932 and the Yemeni Mutawakkil Kingdom until the end of 1962.

To carry out this study, 12 soil profiles were selected and prepared, and soil
samples were collected from the different horizons (surface, subsurface, and C
horizon) in each profile. The results of the analyzed samples indicate that,
topographica
l factors plays an important role in determining some feature,
such as, the depth of the profile, texture, distribution of CaCO3 and the process
of swelling and the shrinking. Concerning the soil fertility, the study showed
that the soil content of microelements is ranging between moderate to low, thus
may be related to the mineralogical composition of the parent material,
weathering status, and to the use of these elements by the plants during the long
lasting exploitation of these soil without any restitution of these element. The
results indicate as well, the decrease of these elements with decreasing
elevation, i.e from the slop to the plain, this probably due to the relation
between the leaching process and topographical position, and to lesser extend to
the (pH) of the soil.

immigrants from the area of Jabal al-Hoss in the province of Aleppo to

of the work on the amount of migrant remittances to
his family. The research also highlighted the importance of individual
characteristics, family and community of immigrants, especially since the study
area was considered one of the dry and marginal areas in Syria, poor in natural
and human resources using the methods of econometric analysis (models
logistic regression and multiple regressions). Results showed that the
probability of migration out of Syria was getting the male immigrants and
individuals younger and more educated and those who were descended from
the family even poorer, and the largest number, also found that the likelihood
of working immigrant in the agricultural sector increased immigrants from
females, and those with a low educational level. There was also an evidence
that the amount of remittances sent to families of migrants increased if migrant
worked in non-agricultural sector, and as the family was much poorer and
more numerous.
