To carry out this study, 12 soil profiles were selected and prepared, and soil samples were collected from the different horizons (surface, subsurface, and C horizon) in each profile. The results of the analyzed samples indicate that, topographical factors plays an important role in determining some feature, such as, the depth of the profile, texture, distribution of CaCO3 and the process of swelling and the shrinking. Concerning the soil fertility, the study showed that the soil content of microelements is ranging between moderate to low, thus may be related to the mineralogical composition of the parent material, weathering status, and to the use of these elements by the plants during the long lasting exploitation of these soil without any restitution of these element. The results indicate as well, the decrease of these elements with decreasing elevation, i.e from the slop to the plain, this probably due to the relation between the leaching process and topographical position, and to lesser extend to the (pH) of the soil.

Artificial intelligence review:
Research summary
Critical review
Questions related to the research

A field experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of organic fertilizers (mushroom substrate residues, poultry manure and city compost) and mineral fertilizers (NPK) on some properties and productivity of a calcareous soil using chard (Beta vulgaris) as a test crop. The plant was cultivated at spring season 2009. The first cut was after 60 days of swing. The results of experiment were: The NPK fertilizer significantly affected dry weight of plant yield (157.6g/m2soil) and the efficiency of fertilizer in productivity was 50.8% compare to control (104.5g/m2soil). The treatment of 50% NPK + 50% poultry manure gave the highest yeld compare to other treatments. However the organic treatments did not differ significantly among them. Concentrations of NPK nutrients in plant leaves were as follows: NPK > 50% NPK + 50% poultry manure > poultry manure > 50% NPK + 50% mushroom substrate > mushroom substrate > 50% NPK + 50% city compost > city compost. The organic fertilizers decreased the NPK in plant and soil compare with NPK fertilizer treatment. However there was no significant differences between NPK treatment yield and 50% NPK + 50 % poultry manure treatment. It was concluded that the use of 50% NPK +50 % orgnic fertilizer (specially poultry manure) was important to get best result.
In order to evaluate the important role of climate on soil formation, three different locations (Nawa, Dael and Nasib) in southern part of Syria, representing the North West, Middle and Southern parts of Hauran Plateau were selected and differ mai nly in the amount of annual precipitation and relatively with other factors. Three profiles, replicated three times, were prepared one profile for each area.
The research was carried out at Al-Qamishli Agricultural Research Center, GSAR, Syira, during the seasons 2011, 2012 and 2013, in order to estimate the effect of adding different levels of a crude Zeolite (T2-20 tons/ha, T3- 40 tons/ha, in addition to the control (without adding Zeolite T1), on wheat productivity within a bilateral crop rotation was followed, consisted of wheat and chickpea, and on the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the surface layer of the soil .The research was conducted using Complete Randomized Block Design with three replicates.
This paper presented an analysis of the most important factors that drive immigrants from the area of Jabal al-Hoss in the province of Aleppo to different directions searched for employment and how they affect migration destination and the nature of the work on the amount of migrant remittances to his family. The research also highlighted the importance of individual characteristics, family and community of immigrants, especially since the study area was considered one of the dry and marginal areas in Syria, poor in natural and human resources using the methods of econometric analysis (models logistic regression and multiple regressions). Results showed that the probability of migration out of Syria was getting the male immigrants and individuals younger and more educated and those who were descended from the family even poorer, and the largest number, also found that the likelihood of working immigrant in the agricultural sector increased immigrants from females, and those with a low educational level. There was also an evidence that the amount of remittances sent to families of migrants increased if migrant worked in non-agricultural sector, and as the family was much poorer and more numerous.
This study was conducted to evaluation of some marshes soil physical characteristics at south Iraq from studying soil properties and accounting the simple and multiple correlation coefficients and relation equations, from which we can predicted th e soil aggregate stability modules of rapture and soil bulk density. Three transacts were chosen, which cover all south Iraqi marshes, with selection of the larger marshes at every transect. The transects are: First toward Amara included marshes of Al-Msendak, Al-Saadiah and Al-Wadiah. Second toward Al- Nasiriah which included the marshes of Delmag, Ghumugaa and Al-hammar. Third toward Samawa which included the marshes of Al- Ramah and Lafti.
