This study aimed to identify the level of the efficiency of understanding the curriculum of five-year kindergarteners of the first grade class of the elementary education in both Damascus, and Homs cities for the 2004-2005 term. To achieve this goal, we had to calculate the students reading, writing, and mathematics scores as a total of 1364; where, 516 were kindergarten students, and the other 848 were first grade students. Also we had 217 kindergarten students to take the first grade level test of each of reading, writing, and mathematics.

Playing is considered one of the most vital needs for the child which is worthy to attention and care. This is because playing is the basic idiosyncrasy and feature of childhood, and it is the motivation behind all processes of maturity and formation . Through playing, the child realizes the whole world, and it is his way to discover himself/herself and his/her abilities. Playing is considered the most suitable way for social communication and interaction with other children. Social communication is one of the basic features of human existence as the human being instinctively needs to communicate, come to an understanding with the others in order to achieve his / her goals, and emphasize his / her social nature. Social communication gives the child the feeling that he / she is part of the human environment. It gives the child the feeling of familiarity among other children. It helps the child to interact with others, fulfill his / her needs and achieve more of his / her goals. Therefore, the researcher focused on revealing the ability of social games and the role they play in giving the necessary skills and new conceptions that help the child to communicate with other children healthily. The researcher has found that the traditional teaching methods are less effective than the modern methods of using the social games to pass on to the child the knowledge and skills of the social communication
The research aimed to identify the difficulties facing the management of technological change in school libraries from the schools' librarian point of view in Lattakia city, and to identify the difference in their opinion according to variables (scie ntific qualification and years of experience).The research used the descriptive approach, and used a questionnaire has been included (48) items, included five fields: Difficulties (strategic, technological, human and financial, administrative, organizational) also studied their psychometric properties, and formed the sample of (118) Librarian, in first Cycle of Basic Education Schools in Lattakia city for the academic year 2020/2021. The researcher reached several results, the most important of which is: The difficulties of the facing the Management of Technological Change in School Libraries from the Schools' Librarian point of view in Lattakia City came to a high degree. There are statistically significant differences regarding with the difficulties facing the management of technological change in school libraries from the schools' librarian point of view in Lattakia city according to variable educational qualification in favor of the Education Preparation Diploma, No statistically significant differences regarding with the difficulties facing the management of technological change in school libra بألعاب تعليمية في الموضوعات المختلفة.This study seeks to identify the effectiveness of educational games in the achievement of students in the first grade. It adopts an experimental method. The sample consisted of (68) pupils from the first grade of basic schools in Jableh City, randomly selected during the first semester (2012/2013). To collect the data we used achievement test to measure the effectiveness of educational games in the development of some scientific concepts by students of the experimental group. Results revealed that there were differences between the averages of the experimental group and the control group averages. Students of the experimental group were more successful than control group. There were no differences between male and female experimental group. Results also demonstrated higher average grades by students in the experimental group in the past-test compared to their averages in pre-test. The research recommends use of educational games on different materials and for different grades. Textbooks should also be provided with educational toys in different subjects.ries from the schools' librarian point of view in Lattakia city according to variable experience.
This study aimed at arranging the items of cognitive abilities test (primary battery) by using Rash s one parameter model , In addition ,different forms for interpreting the individuals level of ability were carried out. The test was conducted on a sample of (1081) students from Lattakia schools and kindergarten . using "SPSS" program and Winsteps for statistical treatment in accordance with Rasch Model. The results showed the necessity of omitting (38) items of cognitive abilities test because they were not fitting the model. The remain items that were left were (172). And proved the validity and the reliability of the test. Moreover, the present study form criteria for percentiles rank, T scores, and standardized intelligent quiescent that equal for the different individual ability.
This study aims at investigating the effect of the individualized way of teaching at the eighth grade students' achievement of the grammar course A sample of (125) students was selected and distributed to (62) students as an experimental group ta ught by the individualized way of Learning / work paper and groups, and another control group with (63) students taught by the traditional way. The researcher trained the relevant teachers and supported them by the needed instructional aids.
The research aimed to identify the degree of employing constructivist teaching methods by classroom teachers in the first cycle of basic education, and to know the differences among the research sample individuals in the degree of employing these methods according to the variables of (educational qualification, and years of experience). The sample of the research consisted of (288) teachers in the first cycle of basic education in Damascus state schools. The sample was selected using the simple random way, and the questionnaire of employing constructivist teaching methods (prepared by the researcher) was applied to them after it was verified for its validity and reliability.
