This study aims to find out the relation between agility component and skill to control the ball in terms of performance, the skill to control the ball is one of the basic skills of soccer and it is related to the rest of the skills as is the case for an agility which is closely linked to the rest of fitness elements such as speeding, flexibility and power. The Researcher used the descriptive method so as to appropriate the research objectives. The study sample included (14) players from theTadamon sports Club in Latakia aged 13_ 14 years, The agility and the control of the ball were tested, to find out the relation between. The statistical results of the study shows a significant correlation between the agility element and skill of ball control and that refers to the effect of the agility on the performance of the skill of the ball control in soccer .The researcher recommended the development of agility element as an adjunct to perform the skill of the ball control.

As dental caries are among the most common chronic diseases, the study of their prevalence and severity in a specific population area can contribute to constructing necessary plans for treatment and prevention. This study aimed to assess the rate of prevalence and severity of dental caries in 13 -15 years – old children in Lattakia City and to study the effects of the different factors and their relation to the grade of the severity of the dental caries. The study was conducted on 1680 children. The sample was divided into four main groups, depending on the grade of severity of the dental caries. The analysis of data showed that the prevalence of dental caries was 67.1±1.92% and the DMFT value was 2.35. The study also showed that mother feeding, the factor of dental care and socioeconomical factors are important in all groups
The goal of this study is to identify certain essential Anthropometric and physiological measurements for midfielders in the Syrian Premier League and to study the relation between these variables in relation to the midfield position. For this purp ose, this study was applied to 70 midfielders in the Syrian Premier League from 9 teams in the League. After that, certain anthropometric measurements, like height, weight, Body Mass Index BMI, Maximal Oxygen Uptake (VO2 max), Shuttle Run Test 20m-Test, and Jump and Reach Test, were collected. The research showed the following results: Average weight is 70.6 ± 6.43kg, average height is 174.79 ±5.28 cm, and BMI 23.10 ±1.64 which all are similar to the results of other researches, but we found a clear difference in the results of physiological tests VO2max where the players achieved an average of 51.21 ± 5.57 ml.kg-1.min-1 which is less than the results of many international studies and less than average numbers achieved by the elite international soccer players which vary between 55 and 68 (ml.kg-1.min-1). In Jump and Reach Tests, average height was 46.153 ±56.92 cm which is also less than the results achieved in Soccer. After studying the relation between the physical measurements with the VO2max and Jumping, no relation was found between the height and Oxygen Uptake (P> 0.05, r =0.06) and between the height and jump (P> 0.05, r = 0.02), and we were also not able to find a relation between the height and VO2max (P> 0.05, r = 0.08) nor between the height and jump (P> 0.05, r = 0.06), or between BMI and VO2max (P> 0.05, r = 0.06), or between the height and jump (P> 0.05, r =0.11). In the end, we can say that the physical measurements of the professional midfielders in the Syrian Premier League are similar to other measurements all over the world while the physiological capabilities in vertical jumping and Maximal Oxygen Uptake are less than the results given by other studies conducted to the elite soccer players in the world.
The leadership traits is one of the distinguished characteristics of the personality of the soccer referee that help him perform his duties in the game under the multiple pressures circumstances, so it was to identify the relation between the these features and the referee's performance may help to raise the level of performance which is the main objective of this study that applied to 24 international and federal Syrian soccer referees, the descriptive method of correlation study style is used. In this research a sample of soccer coaches from the first class in the Syrian League soccer (20 coaches) were used to get a real evaluation of their knowledge and awareness about the physical changes that have occurred on the fitness elements of mod ern soccer players, The modern physical changes in soccer play were also analyzed and estimated for the last forty years depending on a comprehensive analysis of the scientific researches and studies specialized in this field, this would assist coaches to take attention to these capabilities through the different stages of training in order to make them in a perfect construction in line with the requirements of competition. The Results showed that the coaches could not distinguish between modern physical changes and their manifestation or appearance forms, which refers to lack of their information and familiar about these changes. There are many physical changes such as: 1.The total distance of 8-12 Km which estimated by 10% annually until 1985 and a remarkable constancy since 1985 until 2010 2.Running movements performed by a maximum speed ranging from 0 to 5 m 3.Soccer movements from 40-100 movement (jump- Tackling- shot ball and 1 vs. 1) 4.Requirements of each property differ according to the player position and the tactical task entrusted to him.
Increasing and improving general and basic specific endurance at the preparatory phase of the football players are perceived as one of the greatest factors that contribute to successful and effective application of training programmes. Additionally , it helps improve players’ capabilities to endure the league's pressure. More specifically, it is worth noting that the football players need additional or exceptional efforts during the national league. Furthermore, the football matches at the national and international levels may exceed 80 every season, which raises the importance of the endurance element. This study aims to determine the level of endurance element for players from Banias Football Club and Huten Football Club before and after the preparatory phase, and to understand the level of change (improvement) that occurred on this element. Quantitative method was adopted to answer research questions. The results revealed that there are significant differences between the two groups, particularly for Banias Club players.
