This study aims to identify self-concept in a sample of amputation cases by the war on Syria in Lattakia province in relation to some variables such as social status and the place of amputation. To achieve this purpose, the self-concept test was prepared by the researcher, which consisted of (10) cases who suffer from amputation, and was applied on the sample. This research try to defined the Temperament Models of sample of Basic education teachers in Latakia city, as well as to identify differences in the differences between the mean responses of Basic education teachers on a scale of Temperament Models to the variables (sex, place of residence, Stage school). Use the search descriptive analytical method. Application a scale of Temperament Models on the sample included (274) male and female teacher, Pilot sample consisted of (50) teachers. Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.73) and (o.796) by Spearman-Brown. Results showed the field of the dynamic operations of Neurotic was the most spreading between teachers , and came after the field of the power to cease operations, at last the force in the excitement field , there are statistically significant differences according to six in favor of female, and there are statistically significant differences according to Stage school, there are no statistically significant differences according to place of residence.
Folk medicine is one of the most important issues that deserve studying not because it`s being scientific issue, but for being social fact that must be stopped on and study, specially for it`s becoming within the interest of a lot of cultures and s ocieties. The study aimed to identify the university students attitudes towards Folk Medicine in related with some variables: Gender, Residence, and income for the father and mother, to achieve this purpose the attitudes towards Folk Medicine test applied at a sample consisted of (228) from Tishreen University- Faculty of Nursing. The results showed: The (75,9%) from study subject showed positive attitudes towards The Folk Medicine, but only (24,1%) of them showed negative attitudes.
This study aims at identifying the level of the verbal aggression of children both at home and in the refuge accommodation centers during the wartime of Syria. In addition, it investigates the difference between the two genders ,of both samples, in their practicing of verbally aggressive behavior. The researcher has applied the descriptive research method as it conforms to the aim and nature of the research. The research has been conducted in 2017 and the instruments of research have been applied in June, 2017 in Lattakia, Syria. The community of that survey included children brought up both at home and at the refuge accommodation centers ranging from 7 – 10 years old in Lattakia. The sample children were 120 male and female children divided equally in half i.e. 60 children per sample. The refuge accommodation center has been chosen randomly from the accommodation centers of Lattakia like the Stadium Accommodation Center, Harem accommodation center, the Accommodation center of "Jihad Mashi" in addition to some neighborhoods of the afore-mentioned city which serves the purpose of the study. The researcher has developed a research standard to estimate the verbal aggression which conforms to the nature of study and the surrounding conditions. This standard has been later examined and authenticated after being modified. The researcher has attempted to investigate five hypothesis then reached the following conclusions: 1.There is an essential difference in the level of verbal aggression between the two samples; children at home are less verbally aggressive than those at the accommodation centers. 2.There are no statistically significant gender differences between males and females in the use of verbal aggression in the case of the children brought up at home and the children brought up at refuge accommodation centers. 3. There are no statistically significant differences among males in the use of verbal aggression in both samples (the children at home and at refuge accommodation centers.) 4. There is a statistically significant difference among females in the use of verbal aggression in both samples (the children at home and at refuge accommodation centers.).
This research aimed at knowing the relation between casual attribution, and scholastic Achievement Motivation on a sample of superior And ordinary students, and at knowing the differences between the two sorts of each sample the research depended o n the descriptive and analytic method by using casual attribution scale which has been designed by the researcher the sample was (288) students of males and females from the eighth grade at schools of superior And ordinary in Lattakia governorate: The results were as follows: There is a statistical significant positive correlative relation between attribution of (effort making) and scholastic Achievement Motivation of ordinary students students while there is no statistical significant correlative relation between the other casual attributions (the ability, the luck (chance), the task difficulty, (the mixed attribution) and scholastic Achievement Motivation. There is a statistical significant positive correlative relation between each of (the ability attribution, the effort attribution, the task difficulty attribution, and between scholastic Achievement Motivation of superior students, while there is no statistical significant correlative relation between, the luck attribution, and the mixed attribution, and scholastic Achievement Motivation. There are statistical significant differences between the mean scores of ordinary students responses and superior students ones according to casual attribution scale except for the mixed attribution, and there are differences according to scholastic Achievement Motivation scale in favor of the superior students. There are no a statistical significant differences between the mean scores of male students responses and female students ones according to both scales the casual attribution and scholastic Achievement Motivation.
The objective of this research is to find out the relationship between psychological pressure and mental toughness, and to find out the differences in these variables regarding the income and academic qualification of people who suffer from diabetes (A) in Lattakia Province. The study sample consisted of (750) diabetics, (416) males and (334) females. The ages ranged between 15 and 60 years with an average of 35 years. For this purpose, the researcher used psychological pressures scale and mental toughness scale, where their psychometric characteristics were identified through an empirical sample. The research yielded the following results: There is a statistically significant positive relationship between psychological pressure and mental toughness in the research sample. There are statistically significant differences at the indication level (0.05) between the average scores of the answers of the members of the research sample on the psychological pressure scale and mental toughness scale depending on the research's two variables: (level of income, academic qualification).
