Twenty apple varieties were evaluated in the germ plasm of the Agricultural Scientific Research Center in Swaida for Morphological traits, bud honological stages, days after full bloom, storability which were ranged between 2.5 – 8 months, and bes t susceptibility (e.g. wooly aphid and powdery mildew), all studied varieties showed low susceptibility to wooly aphid, while Jersy Mac revealed high susceptibility to powdery mildew compared with the other varieties. The yield of all varieties was studied, so, they divided into: high yield varieties such Stark Earliest, Royal Gala and Golden 972; Good yield varieties "Golden Delicious, Starking Delicious, and Granny Smith etc."; and moderate yield varieties" Red Spur Delicious and Rome Beauty". Chemical analysis (Total soluble solids and total sugars) were achieved for all studied apple varieties. Apple Varieties were divided into five groups depending on Days After Full Bloom (DAFB). The present investigation indicted the high quantitative and qualitative traits of studied varieties which candidate for credence and distribute them in suitable environmental areas in Syria.
This research investigates the actual beginning of experimental animation films and their main directions. The research also reviews the most important pioneers of abstract experimental animation in both Europe and the U. S. A. such as Leopold Surv age, Viking Eggeling and Hans Richter, on the one hand, and the most important film productions and the techniques used, on the other. We move on after that to the most wellknown figures of the pictorial school in Europe as Lotte Reinger, Berthold Bartosch and Alexander Alexeieff. The research moves on to take up the review of the contemporary experimental directions which began in the early 1950's and continued up to the present time, the directions which produced significant figures and experiments of paramount importance in the history of animation , such as Walter Disney, Ivan Vano, Osamo Tezuka, Norma Mclaren in addition to John Halas. These approaches shape the future of animation. The present research sheds light on the significance of both previous (earlier) experiments and the prospect of animation films.
The objective of this research is applying Factor Analysis for Studying the most important economic factors affecting the number of employees within period 2000 till 2009 in Syria, to propose a methodological framework for constructing the integrat ed factor analysis model system (FAMS) that can be used as a decision support tool in employment year examination and supervision process for detection of years, which are experiencing serious problems. Sample and variable set of the study contains 17 economic variables. Study years (10 years during the period 2000–2009) and their economic variables. Well known multivariate statistical technique (principal component analysis), was used to explore the basic economic characteristics of the theses years, and discriminant models were estimated based on these characteristics to construct FAMS. The importance of factor analysis model system in employment year examination was evaluated with respect to defining the non-employment years for deciding the most important employment policy for reducing unemployment rates in future. Results of the study show that, if FAMS was effectively employed within studied years, It is possible in this case to identify weaknesses, according to the years that have the number of employees is less than the overall average calculated over the period.
