In the pursuit of natural language understanding, there has been a long standing interest in tracking state changes throughout narratives. Impressive progress has been made in modeling the state of transaction-centric dialogues and procedural texts. However, this problem has been less intensively studied in the realm of general discourse where ground truth descriptions of states may be loosely defined and state changes are less densely distributed over utterances. This paper proposes to turn to simplified, fully observable systems that show some of these properties: Sports events. We curated 2,263 soccer matches including time-stamped natural language commentary accompanied by discrete events such as a team scoring goals, switching players or being penalized with cards. We propose a new task formulation where, given paragraphs of commentary of a game at different timestamps, the system is asked to recognize the occurrence of in-game events. This domain allows for rich descriptions of state while avoiding the complexities of many other real-world settings. As an initial point of performance measurement, we include two baseline methods from the perspectives of sentence classification with temporal dependence and current state-of-the-art generative model, respectively, and demonstrate that even sophisticated existing methods struggle on the state tracking task when the definition of state broadens or non-event chatter becomes prevalent.

The way of soccer analysis by using videos recordings are considered as one of methods that help to study and analyze some of sport behaviors such as goal kick and play 1 vs 1, which is carried out by the player on pitch during the match. The aim of this study is to continue presenting the newest and most important information about training method of goal kick. Thus this study focused on the goal kick case in soccer and analyzed it in many aspects in world cup 2014 in Brazil. All round of 16, Quarter -finals, Semi-finals and Final play have been recorded -16 plays in total- and then they were analyzed according to the thesis aims. It showed that the average of goals in each game was 2,18 and the most important areas in which recorded goals were No. 3,2and 6 and one- third of goals scored were distributed on the last ten minutes of the match.
The theoretical part of Soccer curriculum, for the first-year students, is considered as an important element in its teaching process, which helps to deliver the theoretical and necessary information helping students to comprehend and understand th e moving skills and how to carry them out, in addition to avoid the common mistakes which usually commited by them. The aim of this scientific research is to stand up to the reality of taught Soccer curriculum, how teaching it and the quality of its vocabulary in accordance with the requirements of quality, reliability and standards of NARS. For this purpose, questionnaires have been distributed to 54 students according to Bloom's Taxonomy relying on its six levels in order to evaluate and assess the content of curriculum. It was shown that the results were suitability and fitting with the curriculum's content, teaching methods and the capabilities of the students, which means that the curriculum is qualified and its objectives and targets are achieved
Abstract Tracking dialogue states to better interpret user goals and feed downstream policy learning is a bottleneck in dialogue management. Common practice has been to treat it as a problem of classifying dialogue content into a set of pre-defined s lot-value pairs, or generating values for different slots given the dialogue history. Both have limitations on considering dependencies that occur on dialogues, and are lacking of reasoning capabilities. This paper proposes to track dialogue states gradually with reasoning over dialogue turns with the help of the back-end data. Empirical results demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in terms of joint belief accuracy for MultiWOZ 2.1, a large-scale human--human dialogue dataset across multiple domains.
Sequence-to-sequence models have been applied to a wide variety of NLP tasks, but how to properly use them for dialogue state tracking has not been systematically investigated. In this paper, we study this problem from the perspectives of pre-trainin g objectives as well as the formats of context representations. We demonstrate that the choice of pre-training objective makes a significant difference to the state tracking quality. In particular, we find that masked span prediction is more effective than auto-regressive language modeling. We also explore using Pegasus, a span prediction-based pre-training objective for text summarization, for the state tracking model. We found that pre-training for the seemingly distant summarization task works surprisingly well for dialogue state tracking. In addition, we found that while recurrent state context representation works also reasonably well, the model may have a hard time recovering from earlier mistakes. We conducted experiments on the MultiWOZ 2.1-2.4, WOZ 2.0, and DSTC2 datasets with consistent observations.
The leadership traits is one of the distinguished characteristics of the personality of the soccer referee that help him perform his duties in the game under the multiple pressures circumstances, so it was to identify the relation between the these features and the referee's performance may help to raise the level of performance which is the main objective of this study that applied to 24 international and federal Syrian soccer referees, the descriptive method of correlation study style is used. The study concludes that the degree of leadership traits of the referees is a high degree. The study also found that socialization feature is the most successful one, and that the performance of the referees' degree is very good the study also concludes that there is a positive insignificant correlation between the degrees of leadership traits and the degree of performance.
