FrameNet is a lexical semantic resource based on the linguistic theory of frame semantics. A number of framenet development strategies have been reported previously and all of them involve exploration of corpora and a fair amount of manual work. Despite previous efforts, there does not exist a well-thought-out automatic/semi-automatic methodology for frame construction. In this paper we propose a data-driven methodology for identification and semi-automatic construction of frames. As a proof of concept, we report on our initial attempts to build a wider-scale framenet for the legal domain (LawFN) using the proposed methodology. The constructed frames are stored in a lexical database and together with the annotated example sentences they have been made available through a web interface.

Three dimensional modeling of utility networks is an important mean of networks design, implementation, management and maintenance. During the modeling process, we face a wide range of processes and procedures to arrive at the correct final model. T his research proposes a semi-automatic methodology for 3D modeling of infrastructure networks in GIS environment. This methodology is based on the ModelBuilder in ArcGIS software by developing two tools to automate the construction processes of 3D networks. The first presents a tool to create a 3D Manhole layer from points, and the second is a tool to create a 3D pipe layer. For both tools, a work algorithm has been built, in addition to designing user interfaces elements. These tools are stored in a Toolbox called “3D Manhole & Pipe.tbx”. The proposed methodology is an easy and an effective way to build 3D network models, and the developed tools allow the implementation of a set of necessary processes needed to build 3D networks.
We present a method to support the annotation of head movements in video-recorded conversations. Head movement segments from annotated multimodal data are used to train a model to detect head movements in unseen data. The resulting predicted movement sequences are uploaded to the ANVIL tool for post-annotation editing. The automatically identified head movements and the original annotations are compared to assess the overlap between the two. This analysis showed that movement onsets were more easily detected than offsets, and pointed at a number of patterns in the mismatches between original annotations and model predictions that could be dealt with in general terms in post-annotation guidelines.
accessing its resources, a single model can’t be adapted in every company. The main idea of this work is to develop a new model that depends on both RBAC and ABAC models so we can benefit from both systems advantages. We propose a hybrid access cont rol model (AARBAC) which is a new access control model that uses the RBAC model and extends it with the ABAC model.
Free legal assistance is critically under-resourced, and many of those who seek legal help have their needs unmet. A major bottleneck in the provision of free legal assistance to those most in need is the determination of the precise nature of the le gal problem. This paper describes a collaboration with a major provider of free legal assistance, and the deployment of natural language processing models to assign area-of-law categories to real-world requests for legal assistance. In particular, we focus on an investigation of models to generate efficiencies in the triage process, but also the risks associated with naive use of model predictions, including fairness across different user demographics.
The Dams are large and complex projects, and are generally characterized by the enormous cost of implementation in some cases, and the length of the implementation period, are rarely carried out a dam in Syria within the estimated plan which develo ped his of the cost and time, this is due to the risks that intercepted projects during the implementation phase and directly influenced the basic project objectives ( cost and time and quality). This research experiences to the reality of the implementation of the late dams, through undertake a study the risks suffered by the implementation of sector and influenced the basic objectives of the project (cost - time - quality), through a field survey study includes more than thirty-five dams in Syria. For this purpose have been used survey was distributed to a slice of experts and technicians in the form of dams, has enabled to obtain a list of the risks faced by the implementation of dams in addition to the assessment, In an attempt to develop a scientific methodology to analyze and manage the risks of dam projects by assessing the probability of their occurrence and their impact on the objectives of the project in the event of occurrence, with introduce a new standard for evaluating a detection / control, As per the approach to FMEA /Failure Mode and Effect Analysis/ and incorporate logic fuzzy, and arrange those risks according the Risk Criticality Number (RCN) for each risk early in order be sensitive to them than we can handled properly with proposing appropriate response strategies.
