Prevention is the key to reduce the incidence of Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) and it
begins with identification of the high risk patients.
Aim: Identifying the different risk factors for CIN .
Methods: This is a prospective analytical study
that has included 156 patients, all
underwent an objective exam, hematochemical measurements. The patiemts were divided
into two groups depending on the incidence of CIN defined as an increase in creatinine
level equal or more than 25% from baseline values within 48-72 hours after the coronary
procedure.
Results: Several independent risk factors for CIN were identified: age equal or more 70
year (OR:4.11, P:0.004( , contrast volume more than 200 ml )OR:3.2,P:0.01(, anemia
(OR:2.7,P:0.01), urgent cardiac catheterization) OR:3.3,P:0.02(,diabetic nephropathy
(OR:4.9,P:0.04).
Conclusion: . Increased contrast volume ,urgent cardiac catheterization elderly patients ,
anemia and diabetic nephropathy are associated with increased risk for CIN.
Wars have many shapes and many means and there are a lot of weapons. Mind

Social welfare and tranquility in any society is connected with the extent to which the society provides care and attention to solve the problem of juvenile delinquents. This is because the problem of juvenile delinquency is one of the most important
and complex social problems facing all societies in the contemporary world, those developed or developing. This era is witnessing a growing increase in juvenile delinquency, which is considered a loss to human development from an economic and social perspective. It's "forces unable to work and produce, corrupting an aspect of the lives of the families and societies. Scientific research has pointed out that crime is most common among young adults and that most adult criminals started their criminal lives since adolescence, where it has been noticed that 60% of the criminals committed crimes before they were sixteen years old (Shafiq, 1996, P. 365).
Theoretically speaking, the social welfare institutions are considered the institutional shelter for individuals damaged by family and social circumstances, regardless of the extent or intensity of this damage. By vocational intervention we mean programs offered in the institutes to protect juvenile delinquents who have been damaged by social or psychological circumstances, and rehabilitate them.
This study includes a full analysis of climatic, vegetation, and topographical factors in Nabe Matta preserve (Drekish Region – Tartous Governorate – Syria), which is considered as the most important factors affecting forest fires. The data were coll
ected for each fire and analyzed by statistical programs (SPSS) and (EXCEL), and the relationship between these multiple factors and the phenomenon of recurrence of fire in one area (fire risk region) was studied. Then the data and the results of the analysis and multi relationship had been studied within the geographic information system software (GIS) to obtain the map of fire risk region, as well as results from topographic maps (1:50.000), aerial photographs (1:25.000), and the needed maps were designed for the study such as (slope map - aspect map - vegetation cover map - infrastructure map - fire risk region map),then places of monitoring towers and centers of rapid intervention in high-risk areas have been proposed for the occurrence of fires. These maps are considered as warning systems and with it we can predict the probability of any fire in the Preserve when the appropriate conditions are provided for it.
