Position representation is crucial for building position-aware representations in Transformers. Existing position representations suffer from a lack of generalization to test data with unseen lengths or high computational cost. We investigate shifted absolute position embedding (SHAPE) to address both issues. The basic idea of SHAPE is to achieve shift invariance, which is a key property of recent successful position representations, by randomly shifting absolute positions during training. We demonstrate that SHAPE is empirically comparable to its counterpart while being simpler and faster.
Current research on quality estimation of machine translation focuses on the sentence-level quality of the translations. By using explainability methods, we can use these quality estimations for word-level error identification. In this work, we compa re different explainability techniques and investigate gradient-based and perturbation-based methods by measuring their performance and required computational efforts. Throughout our experiments, we observed that using absolute word scores boosts the performance of gradient-based explainers significantly. Further, we combine explainability methods to ensembles to exploit the strengths of individual explainers to get better explanations. We propose the usage of absolute gradient-based methods. These work comparably well to popular perturbation-based ones while being more time-efficient.
Administrative responsibility is a real guarantee of respecting environmental laws. If the administration aims to protect the environment and create sustainable development, we should help it and expand its responsibility. Development should not take priority over the environment and resources’ health.
In this research, We present a scientific advanced developed study and keeping up with new studies and technologies of very short-term electrical load forecasting and applying this study for electrical load forecasting of basic Syrian electrical p ower system by studying this prediction for next four hours according to the criterion applied in the Syrian Electricity Ministry with ten minutes intervals ,we call it "Instant electrical load forecasting".
This research deals with values through studying opinions of philosophers who consider that values are absolute ,and compare it with opinions of philosophers who consider that values are relative. Then, the research analyzes and criticizes opinions a nd arguments of the two parts to discover their knowledge ,and ideological deep roots . After that, it seems that philosophers who assert that values are absolute reflect conservative ideology , and want to fix social reality to serve their concerns; while philosophers who assert that values are relative reflect progressive ideology, and want to change social reality . This research also clarifies that philosophers and thinkers of absolute values believe in absolute facts and knowledge; while philosophers and thinkers of relative values believe in relative facts and knowledge.
This paper is an attempt to review some of the reasons which underwrite, first, philosophic and, second, political thought in ancient Greece. I begin with a review of some of the theories and laws by some of the most prominent Greek legislators, star ting with the with the all-too-famous Iliad and the underlying political ideas which played a significant role in the thought of Greece's thinkers, particularly Plato. Then, I move to shed light on some of Solon's most important laws and their effects on political thought. Further, I considered some of the basic political problems with Pythagoreans and Sophists who both had a significant role in setting down philosophic and political theories, which later formed the foundations of Plato's philosophy, and the consequences and effects they had on philosophic thought generally and on political thought on particular.
In this work, we have used the basic techniques for measuring gamma rays. It is based on the use of a sodium iodide (NaI) detector withthallium activated (Tl). We have obtained:  The detector calibration NaI(Tl) and the resolution of the spectrom eter.  Measuring and determining the activity of a source can be doneby using the relative, and the absolute method. The results obtained show bythe Comparison between the experimental and the theoretical(of the sources activities)a good agreement, and the best values obtained by the absolute method.
