The Lee code is applied to characterize the plasma focus in two
plasma focus devices UNU/ICTP PFF and Amirkabir plasma focus
device (APF),
and for optimizing the nitrogen soft x-ray yields based on bank,
tubes and operating parameters. It is foun
d that the soft x-ray yield
increases with changing pressure until it reaches the maximum
value for each plasma focus device, with keeping the bank
parameters, operational voltage unchanged but systematically
changing other parameters.
The research aims to study is to study the effect of the pH factor of Pterocladia
capillacea on agar yield and some of its physical properties using different degrees of pH
(4- 5.5 - 5.5 - 6.5 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 8). The maximum yield of agar was 37.45%
at pH = 5 and
562g / cm2 and viscosity 10.7cP and 15.45% at pH = 8 with the highest strength of 768 g
/cm2 and viscosity of cP 156. The degree of melting and melting of agar Between (22-
33.5 οC) and (75- 86 οC), respectively.
In this work we carried out some numerical experiments on NX2,
UNU/ICTP PFF dense plasma focus device with neon filling gas using Lee
code version (RADPFV5.15de.c1) and standard parameters of the devices
to compare the value of the soft x-ray yiel
d (Ysxr) emitting from each one.
Also we studied the influence some factors on the value of (Ysxr).
This research aims to study the reduction of air heaters corrosion in
steam boilers and increasing their efficiency , by the application of
combined heating of air by steam and exhaust gases.
The experimental data of this research demonstrates tha
theater
corrosion could bereduced by maintaining the exhaust gases
temperature above the dew point of sulfuric acid depending onthe
amount of sulphur in the fuel oil ,by controlling air heat temperature
by steam.Which increases the boiler efficiency as a consequence of
reducing the fuel consumption by 9% as a maximum , reduces heat
loss, minimizes maintenance costs and reduces the time of emergency
shutdowns.
The research aims to study the effect of Seasonal variations in yields and qualities
of agar seaweed Pterocladia capillacea. The results show that there is a clear impact of the
Seasonal variations in the yield, physical and chemical properties of
the extract agar.
Agar yields ranging from 10.1 to 33.8% and has been the highest in the month of June and
below 33.8% in December, 10.1% of the years 2014 to 2015. Reached the maximum value
of the strength of the gel in June, 789 g/cm2 and the minimum value of 183 g/cm2 through
December and the average rate of sulfates 3.42%. The viscosity values ranged between
35.7 and 81.4 cP, and recorded the highest value in July 81.4 cP. Melting temperature
ranged 78- 86.5 °C and Gelling temperature from 35 to 25 °C.
The research aims to study the effect of of agar extraction
temperature (80-90- 100-110 and 120) Syrian alga Pterocladia
capillacea on its yield and and some physical properties.
This research introduce a detailed study of designing high efficiency
100W DC-DC Boost Converter for standalone photovoltaic system
and practical implementation of it’s circuit, by selecting the best
elements with less loss in power in the tow des
igns,to reach the best
efficiency by theoretical calculations and simulation in ORCA, and
compare the results with the practical implementation. Also this
research shows a study of effect of frequency variation on the
efficiency of the converter.

The main properties(yield of juice, total soluble solid, pH, total acidity, total
sugars), some antioxisant compounds as (vitamin C, carotenoids, total phenol,
anthocyanins), and antioxidant activity measured by DPPH method for some
main Syrian or
ange cultivars (navel, valancia, blood orange, and shamouti)
were investigated. The results showed that valancia was the highest in juice
yield (55.16%), while navel had the highest content of carotenoids(8.68mg/100g)
and the lowest one of vitamin C(31.53mg/100g). Whereas, blood orange was
superior in its content of total phenolic (295.73 mg gallic acid100/g) and
antioxidant activity, (74.833%) among the studied cultivars.
