تعدّ تكنولوجيا المعلومات و الاتصالات (ICT)، إجمالي تكوين رأس المال، الانفتاح الاقتصادي، و التضخم من أهم محددات النمو الاقتصادي في جميع الدول و بشكل خاص الدول النامية منها. هدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير هذه العوامل على النمو الاقتصادي في الجمهورية العربية السورية مع تركيز الاهتمام على تأثير تكنولوجيا المعلومات و الاتصالات خلال الفترة 1995-2012. تحقيقاً لهذه الغاية، استخدمت الدِّراسة سلاسل زمنيّة سنويّة خلال الفترة الممتدّة من 1995 إلى 2012 تشمل الدراسة القياسية اختبار استقرارية السّلاسل الزّمنيّة من خلال تطبيق اختبار ديكي فولر الموسَّع (ADF)، و تقدير النموذج و الكشف عن وجود تكامل مُشترك باستخدام منهج الحدود بين الناتج المحلي الإجمالي و المتغيرات المستقلة، و تقدير العلاقة في المدى القصير و المدى الطويل باستخدام نموذج الانحدار الذاتيّ للفجوات الزمنية الموزّعة المُتباطِئة (ARDL). حيث أظهرت الدراسة وجود علاقة سلبية معنوية في الأجل القصير بين النمو الاقتصادي و مؤشر التكنولوجيا Infodensity (الذي يمثل رصيد رأس المال الخاص بتكنولوجيا المعلومات و الاتصالات و رأس المال البشري في البلد)، بينما كانت العلاقة إيجابية و معنوية على المدى الطويل، كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود علاقة سلبية بين إجمالي تكوين رأس المال و النمو الاقتصادي على المدى القصير و إيجابية على المدى الطويل، بينما كانت العلاقة بين الانفتاح الاقتصادي و النمو الاقتصادي إيجابية على المديين القصير و الطويل، في حين كانت العلاقة بين معدل التضخم و النمو الاقتصادي سلبية على المديين القصير و الطويل.
Information and communication technology (ICT), Gross capital formation,
Openness, and Inflation are frequently well-thought-out as important drivers of economic
growth for all countries, and especially for developing countries. This study aims to
examine the effect of these factors no economic growth in Syria covering the period from
1995-2012, with main interest of the impact of ICT. To this end, the study utilized annual
time series data set over the period 1990 to 2010. Econometric techniques include testing
the stationary of data by applying (ADF) test and applying Autoregressive Distributed Lag
(ARDL) method of estimation. Moreover, Short run and long run estimates were found .
The paper confirms a negative and statistically significant relationship between the
economic growth and technology index in the short run, but the relationship becomes
positive and statistically significant in the long run. This paper confirms a negative and
statistically significant relationship between the economic growth and GFC in the short
run, but the relationship becomes positive and statistically significant in the long run,
where the relationship between openness and economic growth is positive both in the short
and long run, whereas the relationship between the inflation rate and economic growth is
negative both in the short and long run.
