The subject of this research is to evaluate the performance of the drilling bits used to reach the final depth of the well in regards to mechanical speed, (alpha) factor, the cost per meter and to recognize the bit that has the highest performance . Obtaining such important info is vital for the successful planning and running of the potential exploration and appraisal wells in Saddad area. The efficient planning of the drilling operations results in decreasing the total drilling time which reflects in turn on the significant decrease in the total drilling cost.
Wireless networks suffer from frequent loss of packets for many reasons such as interference, collision and fading. This makes wireless medium unreliable medium for data transfer. The main methods for ensuring the reliability in this medium are usi ng transmission control protocol (TCP) and the automatic repeat request (ARQ). Recently, network coding has been found as new technology that changes the traditional forwarding method (Store- and- Forward) in the networks to more effective and intelligent method (Code- and- Forward), which contributes to the increase of both capacity and throughput of these networks. In this research, random linear network coding is used as promising technology that aims to achieve the reliable transfer of data in losing wireless networks, and studying the enhancement that this technology presents to the performance of these networks in unicast and multicast transmission. For evaluating the efficiency of this technology and comparing its performance with the performance of reliable transfer protocols, we use the networks simulator (NS3). Simulation results showed that random linear network coding achieve the reliable transfer of data with bigger throughput and less delay and number of transmission compared with the protocols (TCP, ARQ).
UDify is the state-of-the-art language-agnostic dependency parser which is trained on a polyglot corpus of 75 languages. This multilingual modeling enables the model to generalize over unknown/lesser-known languages, thus leading to improved performa nce on low-resource languages. In this work we used linguistic typology knowledge available in URIEL database, to improve the cross-lingual transferring ability of UDify even further.
Economic growth and high competition have put a strong pressure on construction companies to improve their productivity and performance. Many studies on performance measurement have been carried out at the project level. Recently, the demand for perf ormance evaluation at the company level has increased. This paper aims to identify a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). A List of 20 potential performance indicators has been identified according to Balance Score Card (BSC) through a quantitative and qualitative analysis. We have obtained the required information about the relative importance of the indicators through interviews with six experts in the construction industry to determine the size of the relative importance of each indicator, on the grounds that a large number of performance indicators are difficult to measure and control. We have adopted the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify fewer and more effective performance indicators. And we have used Expert Choice software to analyze expert answers. As a result, we have obtained 9 important indicators which can be directly used as indicators to measure and identify performance projects or as indicators within an integrated system, for performance measurement and tracking helps in improving the performance of construction projects in Syria.
Association Rules is an important field in Data Mining, which is used to discover useful knowledge from a massive databases. Association Rules have been used to extract the information from the database transactions, and Apriori Algorithm is a pra ctical application for Association Rules and it is used to find frequent itemsets from database transactions. In this paper, we present a new improving on Apriori Algorithm by reduction generating of candidate itemsets and this leads to improving efficiency Apriori Algorithm.
