هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر تدريس الأحياء بمساعدة الحاسوب (CAI) فـي تحصيل طلاب العلوم بكلية المعلمين بتبوك، و اتجاهاتهم نحو استخدام الحاسوب مقارنة بالطريقة المعتادة (طريقة الشرح و المحاضرة). تكونت عينة الدراسة من (51) طالباً من طلاب العلوم في كلية المعلمين بتبوك الذين درسوا مقرر الأحياء العامة، تم توزيعهم بطريقة التعيين العـشوائي إلـى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية تكونت من (26) طالباً، تم تدريـسهم وحـدة فيـروس متلازمة العوز المناعي المكتسب "مرض الإيدز" بمساعدة الحاسوب (CAI) من خلال برنامج تعليمي محوسب، و مجموعة ضابطة تكونت من (25) طالبـاً، تـم تدريـسهم الوحدة نفسها بالطريقة المعتادة.
