أجريت دراسة اقتصادية لمحصولي القمح و القطن في المنطقة الشرقية مـن سـورية خـلال الفتـرة (1996 -2010)، و ذلك بغية معرفة مدى تطور هذين المحصولين و العوامـل المـؤثرة فيهمـا. أظهـرت النتائج أن تأثير الزمن على المساحة و الإنتاج و الإنتاجية من القمـح كانـت غيـر مهمـة مـن الوجهـة الإحصائية، أما القطن فإن المساحة فقط تناقصت بصورة معنوية خلال فترة الدراسة. كمـا تـأثر الإنتـاج الكلي من القمح بشكل إيجابي و معنوي بالمساحة المزروعة و تكاليف زراعـة الهكتـار، و سـلباً و بـشكل معنوي بسعر الشراء، أما الإنتاج من القطن فقد تأثر إيجاباً و بشكل معنوي بعـاملي التكـاليف و أسـعار الشراء. و قد أسهم إنتاج محافظة الحسكة من القمح، و إنتاج محافظة الرقة مـن القمـح و القطـن بـشكل معنوي في الإنتاج الكلي للمنطقة الشرقية، فيما تفوقت محافظة دير الزور بـشكل معنـوي فـي إنتاجيـة القمح. و أوصت الدراسة بالتوسع بزراعة القمح و القطن، و دعم ، و توسيع دور الإرشاد الزراعي.
The study was conducted in the eastern region of Syria to know the extent of cultivation development of wheat and cotton production and the factors affecting these crops during 1996-2010. The results showed that the effect of time on the production and productivity of wheat was not changed statistically, while the cotton area was decreased significantly during the study period. The total production of wheat was also affected significantly and positively by cultivated area and planting costs per hectare, and negatively by purchase price, while the production of cotton was affected significantly and positively by costs and purchase prices. According to the geographical region, the results showed that the production in the eastern region was significantly affected by Al-Raqqa production for wheat and cotton crops and Al-Hassake production for wheat crop. However, wheat productivity at Deir Ezzor was significantly superior compared to Al-Raqqa and Al-Hassake. The study recommended expanding the cultivation of wheat and cotton and support and expand the role of agricultural extension.

There are many ideas that come to the mind and many questions that keep coming
to the mind when it comes to analyzing the phenomenon of using the methods and tools to
help in the planning and making appropriate decisions.
In this research we tried
to display the importance of statistics and the most important
methods depending on the number of variables used in this analysis: descriptive
statistical indicators in case we had one variable, indexes in case we had two variables,
and factor analysis and analysis of variance in case we had several variables. These methods
were applied to production of irrigated wheat crop, both types soft and hard, during
the period 2000 - 2010 and the factors affecting its production, such as: the cultivated area,
yield, fertilizers, water, the average cost and the average price. Then the data were analyzed
using the Statistical package SPSS and program Excel. After that, they summarized
in two main factors that justify together (86.116%) of the overall variance. The first factor
was related to the land and everything related to it through a set of variables, which are:
the cultivated area and the need to fertilizers and water., The second factor was the importance
of the selling price of the crop per kilogram.
This study investigates the relationship between the financial
development and the economic growth in Syria during the period
(1980-2010). The financial development was measured by the
credit granted to the private sector and the broad money M2
whereas the economic growth was measured by the real gross
domestic product per capita.

ian Arab Republic during the period (1996-2010) by using modern standard ways.
The results of this study showed that the reasons for increasing the inflation rate in Syrian economy are domestic intermediate goods and intermediate imported goods. Regression analysis has been used to estimate the effects of the output of the real wage and the cost of production on GDP implicit price deflator.
It has been concluded that the cost of production affects the implicit price deflator at significance level less than 0.05.

2010, was adopted Based on the indexes, rates growth and multiple regression the most important
results were as the Following, relation:
1- There is a very strong and statistically significant between the irrigated wheat production
and rainfall, dry heat and drought index, wch was the most influential, effed followed by
precipitation drought index, and by dry heat.
2- There is no statistically significant relationship between rain-Fed wheat production and
rainfall dry heat or drought index.
3- There is a strong and statistically significant relationship between the production of
irrigated barley and rainfall, dry heat and drought index, The most influential effed was drought
index, followed by dry heat, and precipitation.
4- There is no statistically significant relationship between the production of rain-Fed barley
and rainfall and dry heat or drought index.
