The study aimed to investigate the degree of social studies teachers’ practice of map skills in the upper elementary stage at UNRWA schools in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (72) teachers; (32) male teachers comprising (44%) and (40) female teachers comprising (56%). For the purpose of conducting the study the researcher developed a survey questionnaire consisting of (55) items distributed among seven domains as follows: (selecting the right map, displaying the map, presenting the map, understanding the map, using the map in assessment, protecting the map from damage and directing the map).
This study aimed at investigating factorial structure of academic motivation scale to a sample of 6th and 7th graders at UNRWA schools in Jordan, and its relationship with some variables. The Arabic version of the scale was applied to the sample w hich consisted of 315 subjects. The findings of the factorial analysis showed six factors for academic motivation. Psychometric properties were investigated using some procedures. Reliability was examined, using runback alpha coefficient for internal consistency for each factor, and the correlation coefficients were investigated. The study showed a significant effect for some factors related to sex, grade and interaction between them.
The research aims to identify the effective professional development programs targeted to teachers of the first episode of primary education¸ also aimed to know the differences between the average scores of teachers according to the following vari ables (gender and Academic qualification), Research sample consisted of (330) teachers chosen by simple random method, applied the scale effective professional development programs, and is prepared by the researcher and after the verification and Reliability.
The teacher is the cornerstone of the teaching process since he/she is one of the elements of teaching. This research aims at studying the characteristics of the future teacher and his new roles in the light of quality system requirements and thei r implementation in the educational field, the age of technology and knowledge.It also aims at recognizing the status of teacher preparation programmes in the Faculty of Education, Damascus University according to its outcome measurement in vocational, academic, cultural and social preparation. It also aims at preparing an inventory to evaluate teacher preparation programmes according to the international quality assurance which includes aims, content, instructional administration, the teaching staff ,teaching methods, infrastructure and instructional technology.
The aim of this study was to determine to what extent that assistant Deans of academic affaires at Sana'a and Taiz Universities apply Total Quality Management Principles (TQMP) in their work. Therefore, this study was trying to answer the followin g questions: 1. To what extent that TQMP are applied at Sana'a and Taiz Universities by Assistant Deans of Academic Affaires. 2. Are there statistical significant differences attribute to some independent Variables such as university, academic rank, and job position?
