يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة و تقييم الآمال النفطية و الغازية لمنطقة الدراسة و ذلك من خلال دمج بيانات الاستشعار عن بعود و نظام المعلومات الجغرافي ونموذج الارتفاع الرقمي ونظام ثلاثي الأبعاد. وذلك بمساعدة برنامج (Arc GIS).
لقد تمكنا من خلال هذه المعطيات من إيجاد نظام تكاملي بينها حيث تم باستخدامها: وضع خريطة البنيات الحلقية, وضع خريطة المظاهر الخطية,
وضع خريطة شبكات التصريف المائية. و جميعها تمثل مؤشرات مباشرة و غير مباشرة على سطح الأرض لبنيات سطحية أو تحت سطحية، و التي تلعب دورًا هاماً في التنقيب عن النفط و الغاز.
The aim of this research is to study and prognosis oil and gas by utilization of Remote Sensing (RS) data Geographic Information
System (GIS) and Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and 3D. The integration of the data by using program (Arc GIS). The integration data led to divide the lineaments circular structures and drainage network.
