الميكانيكية و الكهربائية – بوصفه مرجعًا أساسيًا في حساب قيم بارامترات الماء والبخار للدورات البخارية (مثل دورة رانكين) و القيم المستخلصة من المعادلات الناظمة و الموضوعة من قبل الجمعية الدولية لمواصفات الماء
و البخار IAPWS-IF97 و اعتمادها بوصفها مرجعًا أساسيًا في البحث العلمي لحساب بارامترات الماء بأطواره كّلها في الدورات البخارية. قامت الجمعية الدولية لمواصفات الماء والبخار (1997) في عام 2012 بنشر آخر نسخة من المعادلات الناظمة لبارامترات الماء و البخار. أعضاء هذه الجمعية الدوليون هم: الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، كندا، الأرجنتين، البرازيل، إنكلترة، ايرلندا، جمهورية التشك، الدنمارك، فرنسا، ألمانيا، اليونان، إيطاليا، سويسرا (عضو مشارك)، اليابان، روسيا..
The main objective of this paper is to verify the difference between water - steam properties obtained from Vukalovich tables (1940) and these obtained by IAPWS-IF97 model. Vukalovich tables are used as the main reference at Damascus University – Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering – to acquire water and steam parameters used for vapor power cycles (Rankine Cycle). The last revised release on IAPWS-IF97 (International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam of the Industrial Formulation 1997) was in 2012.
