The main objective of this paper is to verify the difference between water - steam properties obtained from Vukalovich tables (1940) and these obtained by IAPWS-IF97 model. Vukalovich tables are used as the main reference at Damascus University – Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering – to acquire water and steam parameters used for vapor power cycles (Rankine Cycle). The last revised release on IAPWS-IF97 (International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam of the Industrial Formulation 1997) was in 2012. IAPWS members are United States of American, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Britain, Ireland, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Switzerland (associate member) Japan, and Russia.

There were many legal frameworks and engineering conditions of the construction systems in Arab countries. They were developed depending on the importance of the urban boom, taking into account the priorities of the cities in their strategies, whic h depend on the balance between the characteristics and urban development in the world. The research compares between the data of Dubai city, which became a state that grows in the Arab Gulf as a real estate investment and attraction for capital, the city of Damascus, which is looking for a role through this context, and the development possibility of its building system in accordance with its dreams in order to be in balance with its background heritage.
Alsin Spring is the most important water sources in Syrian coastal area, due to it is the source of drinking water for the main cities and towns in the Syrian coast. This research aimed to study some contaminant indicators in Alsin spring and some t aps of distribution system of Alsin drinking water, and compare the Indicators with samples of bottled drinking water from Alsin spring and three other water sources (Drekish, Bukkeen, and Alfigeh). The study included determining the concentrations of nitrates, nitrites and some heavy metals including lead, cadmium and nickel in water samples. The results showed that all water sources contain varying concentrations of lead, while the nickel and cadmium were vary in drinking water samples; The concentrations of nickel and cadmium in some samples were low while were under the detection limits in other samples. The analysis of samples of bottled drinking water showed that the samples from Alfigeh spring were the lesser contamination with heavy metals, while the samples from Alsin spring were contain highest concentrations of lead and nickel. The samples of bottled water from Bukkeen spring contain the highest level of cadmium. The results showed that the concentrations of nitrate, nitrite and heavy metals differ depending on the water source. However, all these concentrations were lower and within the acceptable limits of Syrian standard for drinking water. The study concluded that water resources in the coastal area are distinguished with their higher pure.
This research focused on one of the stages of the conventional treatment of water in the purification stations, a process of coagulation, which enhanced by using alternatives to alum; such as Ferric Chloride and Poly Aluminum-chloride (PACl), whic h play an important role to reducing the turbidity of drinking water through the destabilization of colloids, which include organic and inorganic materials in order to increase the efficiency of sterilization and disposal of the side effects of sterilization (DBPS) and to minimize the problems of clogged sand filters due to an increase of the turbidity of water inside it. According to that, three types of coagulant agents were used for the purpose of comparison with each other to achieve the best efficiency in the process of reducing water turbidity through a process of coagulation improved by using (Jar-test). Different concentrations of coagulant agents of irrigation water were used depending on experiments. The results found that urinary chloride aluminum gave the highest efficiency in reducing turbidity by (84, 82 and 81%) according to the addition of concentration for coagulation (20 ppm, 10 ppm and 5ppm), respectively. The reduction rates in turbidity for Ferric chloride were (79, 78.2 and 78.1% ) by concentrations added, respectively, but for alum, the reduction rates in turbidity were (58, 56, and, 54%) by concentrations added, respectively.
The shortest path problem can be categorized in to two different problems; single source shortest path problem (SSSP) and all pair shortest algorithm (APSP). In this paper, analysis and comparison between complexity of the famous shortest path al gorithms have been made, and the obtained results have shown that researchers have got remarkable success in designing better algorithms in the terms of time complexity to solve shortest path algorithms.
This experiment is done on (24) male awassi lamb whish are divided into four categories: the first category took normal water and is considered as control group. The other three groups took water processed with different Magnetic Field : 500, 1500, 2000 **Gauss in a series.
