The research dealt, for the first time, with the identification of
reproductive times and developmental stages of both ovaries and
testes of pearl oyster Pinctada radiata in Syrian regional waters,
which may serve as an introduction to its rearing and culturing.
The research aims to identify the difficulties faced by graduate students (MA,
PhD), in the field of research in light of the Syrian crisis, the researcher followed
the descriptive method adopted to design a questionnaire consisted of 37 items
dis
tributed on four axes (administrative difficulties, scientific and cognitive
economic, social, and psychological), and the research sample consisted of 65
students, the master, and (55) students Ph.D., registered in the years
2015/2016.
A total of 410 Sardinella aurita Fish , were collected from Syrian coast during the
period from April 2014 to March 2015.Total length and weight ranged between 81 – 270
mm, 6.94 –137.29g respectively. The aim of present study was to illustrated som
e aspects
of reproduction biology for Sardinella aurita. .
Gonads Somatic Index (G.S.I.) for female and male recorded highest value in early
June 4.22 and 5.80 respectively. Male and females round sardinella reach first sexual
maturity at total length (17.97 cm and 18.67 cm respectively).
Mean absolute fecundity (FA) increased with body length ( ) and
weight ( ), with an average of 20714.79 ±4876.21 oocytes produced per
spawning female. Relative fecundity (FR) ranged between 242 and 285 oocytes/g of body
weight (average: 266.17 ±21.49 oocytes/g).
The study on the frequency distribution of eggs diameters revealed the presence of
one beak of sardinella aurita. The egg diameters of sardinella aurita ranged between
0.2mm -0.7mm with an average 0.45±0.18 mm.
This research consists of two parts. The first part depends on the previous researches and literature dealing with the subject research "sex in advertising". This research aims through the first part to analyze "sex in advertising" phenomenon, since
advertisers use sex in advertising to attract the consumer to the advertisement. This research through field study aims to measure the effect of sex in advertising on the consumer's attitude toward advertising and towards brand according to the consumer's gender.
Through survey study, the research shows that there is a positive effect of sex in advertising on the consumer's attitude towards advertising and brand: when the consumers are male, whereas there is a negative effect of sex in advertising on the consumer's attitude towards advertising and brand when the consumers are females. Based on the findings, researchers suggest that advertisers can use sex in advertising to create a positive attitude toward advertising and brand when the consumers are males, and avoid using sex in the advertising addressed to female consumers with the aim to gain positive attitude towards both advertising and brand.

Aim:
To evaluate the hearing changes following stapedotomy surgery,
and to investigate the potential effects of the age and sex of the
patients on air-bone gap closure.
Material and Methods:
80 patients diagnosed with otosclerosis and undergone
stapedotomy surgery, were involved in this study. The hearing changes were evaluated by comparing the means of air and bone conductive measurements at 250-500-1000-2000 and 4000 Hz before and after surgery. In addition, the air-bone gap closure was determined. Data was analysed statistically using t-student and Anova tests (p=0.05).
Results:
There was a statistically significant difference in air conductive
measurements before and after surgery (p<0.001), whilst the bone
conductive values showed no differences. The mean of air-bone
closure in the current study was 28.6dB.
This research deals with Legitimacy extent of medical work in non-therapeutic cases such as virgin patching, sex change, medical sterility, lease of uterus for reproduction with medical assistance, plastic surgery and scientific research and experime
nts. The medical work is not legitimate in the previous cases, because it does not originally aim for therapy and cure, but it is possible that the medical work in the previous cases is legitimate if it is exceptionally aiming for therapy.
The research concluded some results and recommendation, which may contribute in issuing required legal texts by the national legislator.
This study was conducted at the vegetable field of department of
horticulture and landscape design, college of agriculture and forestry ,Mosul
university, during spring of 2007 and 2008, to study the effect of times and
levels of nitrogen fertiliz
ation on some characters vegetative growth, flowering
,and yield of summer squash .Result indicated that, the time of nitrogen
fertilization at the stage of fruit-set caused a significant increased in the leaf
number /plant ,length of the plant and the fresh weight/plant. While the time of
nitrogen fertilization wasn't affected significantly the total yield. The level at
320 kg.N/ha caused a significant increase of the characters vegetative growth
and total yield. Also result revealed that, the interaction between the stage at
fruit set and nitrogen fertilization at 320 kg.N/ha led to increase the total yield
.The yield was found to positively correlation with the plant length ,fresh and
dry weights of plant, leaf area, fruit weight, male and female flowers, and the
sex ratio.
Objective: Multiple sclerosis progress in different patterns. It is divided to relapsing
remitting, secondary progressive, primary progressive and progressive with relapses types. Our study
concentrates on studying these different patterns in our area.
We had shown that the mechanism of analgesia induced by swimming
stress in Wistar males is closely related to stress, some of the relation to this
mechanism with cortical hormones. The aims of this research is to study the
sexual differences in th
e mechanism of analgesia induced by swimming stress in
both male and female Wistar rats and the possibility of its relation with sexual
hormones.
The male and female show an increase in the threshold of pain as result of
swimming stress (Swimming in the water during 3 minutes, with 16 C). The
analgesia in the females was more important compared with males. The
pretreatment with naloxone led to a partial inhibition of stress- induced
analgesia in both sexes, but in males it was more important.
