In previous years, the Government depended on deficit financing system, which
inflame the inflation in Syrian economy. In view of negative results which result
from that, We -in our research- have put an frame to determinate all financing
alternat
ives otherwise deficit financing system.
Looking for alternatives to finance development process, on the first side decreases
the load on public budget, as it decreases the using of foreign loans, or withdraw the
money from the central bank (deficit financing),and on the other side it attains the
partnership principle with the privet sector in financing the development process in
the country.
We demonstrate the position of traditional and islamic economy from using deficit
financing system, and illustration the deferent available alternatives of financing,
and their positives and negatives, and which we recommend to reliance on to
financing development process.
Predicting crop yield response to irrigation level is increasingly important to
optimize irrigation under limited available water and for enhancing
sustainability and profitable production. This study was carried out to evaluate
the performance of
CropWat model in predicting deficit irrigation effect on
cotton crop, and to explore some alternatives for cotton irrigation. Crop yield
and water use data were collected from a 3-yr (2007-2009) field experiment to
assess the response of drip-irrigated cotton to deficit irrigation (DI).
A study of the effectiveness of methyl bromide (MB) and some alternatives
were carried out to determine their effects on soil sterilization, densitY of
nematode and production of tomato (variety Karam) crop, under greenhouses
conditions in Banias
area, during 1999-2000.The treatments were as follows:
MB (57g/m2), Dazomet GR 98%, organic matter + solarization (Biofumigation)
and control. Results showed that the effectiveness in reducing the
total nematode density were 97.5%, 66.1%, 28.8 and 0% respectively. The root
knots index for Meloidogyne spp. were 0, 0.64, 0.83 and 1.83 respectively. The
Bio-fumigation treatment didn't have any effect on reducing the nematode
density, but increased the plant growth and yield. The crop yield were 190.67,
167.33, 185 and 157.67.kg/plot respectively and there was no significant
difference between the MB and the Bio-fumigation treatments.
