This study aims at recognizing the influence of some factors; the
nationality of students, academic year, gender of the lecturer and the
lecturer's academic status, in evaluating the staff teaching performance as
one aspect of educational performa
nce. The research tool designed for
this purpose comprises 58 statement grouped under four categories and
distributed to 400 male and female students randomly chosen from the
Faculty of Education in Al-Baath University, Syria to evaluate the
teaching performance of seven lecturers in the same faculty.
The study concluded that a statistically significant differences identified
in the results obtained from the evaluation conducted by the students of
the teaching performance related to the teaching staff according to the
variable of 'academic status' , contrary to other variables.
This research aims at getting acquainted with the characteristics
of digital repositories in the domain of libraries and data,
displaying world models, their uses and traits for the community
of beneficences at the academic community, in addition
to
studying the qualities of software of digital repertory and the
used modals in building those repertories, getting acquainted
with the management systems and their services, and
establishing a vision of the basic technical structure of digital
repository at Al-Baath university in the light of world calibers
and protocols.
