Toxic Spans Detection(TSD) task is defined as highlighting spans that make a text toxic. Many works have been done to classify a given comment or document as toxic or non-toxic. However, none of those proposed models work at the token level. In this
paper, we propose a self-attention-based bidirectional gated recurrent unit(BiGRU) with a multi-embedding representation of the tokens. Our proposed model enriches the representation by a combination of GPT-2, GloVe, and RoBERTa embeddings, which led to promising results. Experimental results show that our proposed approach is very effective in detecting span tokens.
Ash toxicity of burning pruning residues of three plant species i.e. apple, grape and
olive was tested against adults of cowpea seed beetle Callosobruchus maculatus
(F.) (Coleoptera, Bruchidae) using the following concentrations: (5, 10, 20, 40
an
d 80) g/kg of cowpea seed. The study was carried out in incubator at fixed
temperature and humidity at Biotechnology Research Center, Al-baath University.
Readings were taken after (24, 48 and 72) h of treatment, and corrected mortality
rates were calculated and values of LC50, LC90, LT50 and LT90.
Increasing intramuscular doses of Methotrexate (25 mg / kg, 50 mg / kg,
100 mg / kg, 150 mg/ kg, 200 mg / kg, 250 mg / kg, 300 mg / kg) were tested on
Swiss strain Mouse by intramuscular injection. The reproductive potency was
evaluated by total s
perm count and movement of the left testis and it's
epididymis (15) days after injection. The weights of the latter of all tested
animals were registered.
The result indicate that Methotrexate, a Folate antagonist, is a negative
factor for sperm production in a dose related manner. It was evident that the
high doses (ex. Dose 200 mg / kg) lead to oligospermia. It was concluded that
Methotrexate inhibits the reproductive potency during spermatogenesis and
causes cytotoxicity in high doses. Further investigations are needed.
