This paper presents a neural framework of untied independent modules, used here for integrating off the shelf knowledge sources such as language models, lexica, POS information, and dependency relations. Each knowledge source is implemented as an ind
ependent component that can interact and share information with other knowledge sources. We report proof of concept experiments for several standard sentiment analysis tasks and show that the knowledge sources interoperate effectively without interference. As a second use-case, we show that the proposed framework is suitable for optimizing BERT-like language models even without the help of external knowledge sources. We cast each Transformer layer as a separate module and demonstrate performance improvements from this explicit integration of the different information encoded at the different Transformer layers .
This research aimed to investigate the competitive situation and the growth
reduction as a result of competition for brutia pine trees grown in
Kafardabeel stand – Jableh. In the year 2015, 15 circle plots (with area size
of 400 m²) in the study a
rea planted in 1974 were sampled; all variations in
the site like tree density, aspect, slop, topography and site fertility were
covered. In the sample plot diameter at breast height of all trees and also
coordinates of central tree and coordinates of all compotators as well as
were measured. In order to study the competitive situation, two different
types of competition indices: position dependent (Heygi1, Heygi2, BAL) and
position independent (CCF) indices were used.
The research objective is to perceive the nature of relationship between Latakia and Tartous
ports with the other seaports of the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, identifying whether it is
integrating, competing or neutral relations, in the mea
ntime, another research objective arises, it is
to analyze the influence of the geographic location on these regions’ sea ports inter-relationship,
the research concluded the presence of a competing relationship between Latakia and Tartous
against the ports of Mersin, Beirut, Haifa, Ashdod, on the contrary, there has proved a cooperative
and integrative relationship between the Egyptian Ports of Port Said, Damietta and Alexandria, the
same relation with a lower degree with the other Arabian ports and the Syrian trade partners sea
ports , while other ports were neutral ,the research concluded the importance of making use of the
comparative advantages enabled by the geographic location of Latakia and Tartous ports, also the
importance of developing its port capacity and facilities, focusing on improving their performance,
productivity and the application of effective marketing policies.
Ssilverleaf nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium Cav.) is a serious weed to
cotton and other field summer crops due to the alkaloids present in the plant
and have allelopathic potential on the germination of other plants. Sorghum
(Sorghum bicolor) h
ave been investigated as a allelopathic crop having strong
competition potential in the field containing many numerous water solution
allelochemicals and can be used to control weeds in field crops. A field
competition study between sorghum and silverleaf nightshade plants was
conducted to determine how long every plant can resist against the other.
The research works based on an economic study on sugar beet crop in Syria
during the period (1985 2003), and its prospectives taking into account the
cultivated area, yield and total production in order to know the extent of
cultivation developmen
t and the factors influencing this crop.
Results showed that the area under sugar beet was unstable, which
negatively reflected on the yield and production during the studied period.
However, these changes were not statistically important for the cultivated
area (non-significant regression), while the regression was significant for the
yield and production.
