The genus Orchis L is one of the most important orchid tuberous species, distinguished by its versatility of food, medicinal and aromatic uses, in addition to its ornamental value. Due to the unjust collection processes that made many types of them rare or endangered, and the lack of information about their collected types and the specifications of their tubers.

Patients infected with different species of Leishmania in Syria develop specific antibodies. For this reason, we have developed an immunodot assay for the serodiagnosis of cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis, which utilizes antihuman IgG conjugat ed with peroxidase (HRP) as the visualizing agent.
At this study, two species of genus Equisetum L. have been recorded, that they were: Equisetum telmateia L. and Equisetum ramosissimum Desf. E. ramosissimum Desf. was recorded for the first time in Lattakia. The morphological features were used to separate two species: ( number of the scaly leaves in the node area, shape of the sheath, and number of its teeth, number of the grooves at the stem, length of the strobilus and its color, length of the lateral branches). This study showed that: the spores had three coats, the exosporium rounded by the spore like bars with a wide terminal that called: elaters. Also showed obvious difference in measurements the strobilus and the shapes of sterile and fertile stem.
This Research Deals With Studying Of Five Concentrations in IBA Auxin (0.25 – 0.5 – 0.75 – 1 – 2 mg\ l ) And Control Medium For Rooted Plantlets To Wild Apple (Malus trilobata Lab.) By Plantlets Cultured It's Length (1.5-2) cm On Half- Strength Mu rashige And Skoog Medium(½MS), Then Making Rooted Percentile And Mean Of Number And Length Of Roots, The Result Was: The First Treatments (0.25 mg\l) Were Significantly Better Than Other Treatments And Control For About Rooted Percentile (64%) And Mean Of Number Roots (16 Roots), The Third Treatments (0.75 mg\l) Were Significantly Better Than Other Treatments For About Mean Of Length Of Roots(21.03)cm.
This research was conducted at AlTieba Research Station, General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR) in 2012 and 2013 seasons, to study the effect of different doses of gamma rays on growth and productivity of local garlic Alli um sativum L. cultivar “Yabroudi” in Syria. Cloves were exposed to four different doses of gamma rays of 60Co source 1, 2.5 ,5 ,10 ) Gray). Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used .The results showed the surviving plants after 60 days of planting declined with the increase of dose levels. The percentage of dead plants at the doses (2.5, 5 Gray) was 50 and 54 %, respectively. Also, it was possible to obtain a larger number of viable mutations. Therefore, they could be considered as close as to LD50. The dose (10 Gray) had a negative effect on the length of the cloves’ germination period, leading to the death of all the plants after 60 days of planting, this could be considered lethal dose (LD100). The response of the local garlic cultivar Yabroudi to the low-dose (1 Gray) of gamma ray was higher comparing with other doses. This is due to the positive effect of this dose (Stimulus) on the vegetative growth that was reflected on the productivity indicators. The productivity reached (4.50 kg/m2), which was significantly superior to the control (2.91 kg/ m2) and the two doses (2.5, 5 Gray), respectively (2.26, 1.60 kg/ m2).
Some factors which affect in vitro propagation of sour orange (Citrus aurantium. L.) were studied on Murashige and Skoog medium. Medium containing ١,٠ mg/L ٦-Benzylaminopurine (BA) was satisfactory for shoot multiplication, Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (٢،٤-D) was not effective for shoot proliferation and it enhanced callus formation.
