تناول هذا البحث دراسة تأثير خمسة تراكيز من حمض إندول بيوتريك IBA و هي [2, 1, 0.75, 0.5, 0.25] مغ/ الليتر بالإضافة للشاهد الخالي من الهرمون في تجذير النموات الخضرية لنوع التفاح البري Malus trilobata Lab. من خلال زراعة نموات بطول (2-1.5) سم على الوسط موراشيج و سكوغ (MS) بنصف قوة أملاحه (½MS) و حساب النسبة المئوية للتجذير و متوسط عدد و طول الجذور و أظهرت النتائج الآتي:
تفوقت المعاملة T1 (التركيز (0.25)مغ/ الليتر) على جميع المعاملات الأخرى من حيث النسبة المئوية للتجذير (64 %) و متوسط عدد الجذور (16جذر), في حين تفوقت المعاملة T3 ( التركيز (0.75) مغ/الليتر ) على باقي المعاملات من حيث متوسط طول الجذور المتشكلة (21.03) سم.
