This study was conducted at glasshouse of Citrus and Tropical Research Department in Tartus governorate, and Olive Nursery in Latakia governorate, during 2015 to determine the influence of Indol-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) doses on hardwood and softwood top cuttings of three types of M. alba L. (B-1, B-5, KH-8) and three types of M. nigra L. (M-4, KH-9, KH-1) and one fruitless type (B-3), which spreads in different locations in Tartus, Syria. Hardwood cuttings were prepared during February from one-year-old shoots, and the softwood top cuttings were prepared during August in 2015. The cuttings were treated with different doses of IBA (1000, 2000 and 4000 ppm) in addition to the control application 0 ppm. The cuttings were planted in the glasshouses in order to root.

This research was conducted during the period of 2014 - 2015 in six locations ranging from a height of between (0-500 m) in Syria, Tartous Governate in order to survey and evaluate some mulberry types belong to (Morus alba and Morus nigra). 33 type s (22 of white mulberry and 11 of black mulberry) were determined for the purpose of morphological and phenological characterization and for the determination of the degree of morphological relationship between those types in addition to setting their own taxonomic keys. Morphological analysis was done based on 14 morphology characteristics (leaves, catkins, fruits) in addition to a cluster analysis for all types belongs to white and black species and for each species alone. The morphological tree for all types showed two main groups with a contrast ratio of (48%), the first group included three types belong to black mulberry, and the second group included 30 types belong to both species with a contrast ratio of (0-38%), while the morphological tree for the black species types showed a contrast ratio of (47%) and (33%) for the white specie types. The degree of morphological similarity is variable between the studied types regardless of fruits color, and the percentage of contrast among the black mulberry types is higher than white mulberry types.
Semi-wooden cuttings of two - jujuba cultivars were vegetitirely propagated under greenhouse conditions, by using different concentrations of Indole butyric acid (IBA), at Hanadi Research Station, Lattakia. The rooting percentage reached 71.3% aft er two months for the Ziziphus jujube mill, and 83.3% for the Ziziphus jujube tayan tsizao, when they were treated with 4000 mg/L of (IBA) for five seconds while the rooting percentage was zero for the non-treated cuttings (Control) .
Studying of using of semi-hardwood cuttings that were got from different ages for Magnolia gradiflora L. trees: Young trees that are 15 years old, middle-aged trees that are 30 years old, and only one old giant tree which is 110 years old were per formed by treating the cuttings with Indole Butric Acid Rooting Hormone 2000 P.P.M. which was used during three periods of time: 10, 20 ,and 30 seconds under green house conditions.
This Research Deals With Studying Of Five Concentrations in IBA Auxin (0.25 – 0.5 – 0.75 – 1 – 2 mg\ l ) And Control Medium For Rooted Plantlets To Wild Apple (Malus trilobata Lab.) By Plantlets Cultured It's Length (1.5-2) cm On Half- Strength Mu rashige And Skoog Medium(½MS), Then Making Rooted Percentile And Mean Of Number And Length Of Roots, The Result Was: The First Treatments (0.25 mg\l) Were Significantly Better Than Other Treatments And Control For About Rooted Percentile (64%) And Mean Of Number Roots (16 Roots), The Third Treatments (0.75 mg\l) Were Significantly Better Than Other Treatments For About Mean Of Length Of Roots(21.03)cm.
This study aimed to investigate Four levels of IBA concentration: (0 (control), 1000, 2000, 4000 ppm) and three kinds of rooting media: sand, peatmoss, sand+sawdust in ratio of 1:1 in a factorial complete random design. The results indicated that the concentration of 2000 ppm was superior at rooting percentage 76%, root number (20 roots) and root length 13 cm over the other levels of concentration. Besides, the media of (Sand+Sawdust) was superior at rooting percentage 72%, rooting number (19 roots), root length 11 cm, physical and chemical charactaristics and the charactaristics of the rooted cuttings.
