تمت مفاعلة الغليسرول مع اثنين من هاليدات الأريل ي وسط أساسي من K2CO3 بوجود 5%mol من معقد البالاديوم (II) ذو الصيغة Pd(PPh3)2Cl 2 حيث أجري التفاعل بين الغليسرول و برومو البنزن كتفاعل نموذج و باستخدام الماء كمحل. إن معقد البالاديوم المستخدم لا ينحل في الماء و انما يعمل كوسيط غير متجانس يمكن استرداده بواسطة الترشيح في نهاية التفاعل و من ثم يعاد استخدامه عدة مرات، وفقاً لهذه الشروط حضر مركب جديد بتفاعل الغليسرول مع 1-برومو- 6,2 -ثنائي كلورو بنزن حيث يتوقع أن يكون للمركب المحضر تطبيقات صيدلانية.
The Reaction of Glycerol carried out with tow aryl halides under basic conditions (K2CO3) using 5 mol% of Pd(II)Complex as catalyst, Pd(PPh3)2Cl2. The typical reaction has been performed between glycerol and bromobenzene. This reaction is achieved in water as solvent. However, the catalyst complex does not dissolve in aqueous solutions rather it acts as heterogeneous catalyst. Therefore, it is filtrated at the end of the reaction and reused several times. Accordingly, new compound were prepared by reacting glycerol with 1-bromo-2,6-dichlorobenzene. It is anticipated that the synthesized compounds may have pharmaceutical application.

Phenol derivatives have been reacted with aryl halides under

of the bromoaryl derivatives with paracetamol. It is anticipated that
the synthesized compounds may have pharmaceutical application as
non-steroidial anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Two ethers coumarin derivatives: 7-phenoxy -4-carboxylic
coumarin (B) and 7- (6,2-di-chloro) -4-carboxylic coumarin (C)
have been synthesized from the 7-hydroxy-4-methy coumarin
(A) as beginning compound and the copper complex [CuPPh3Cl]4
carried on the amberlyst-21 as the eco-friendly catalyst, these ethers
coumarin derivatives have an important biological properties may
be used in the treatment of breast cancer.
