شجرة البطم الفلسطيني (pistacia palaestina) من الأنواع المتوطنة في منطقة
الحوض البحر الابيض المتوسط و منها سوريا . و هي تنتشر بشكل اساسي في غابات
السنديان العادي و الصنوبر البروتي , و تحت ظروف التدهور المتعددة التي تتعرض لها
المناطق الحراجية في الطابق البيو مناخي الرطب و شبه رطب تتسارع تحول ما تبقى من
تكوينات غابوية الى ماكي .
Pistacia palaestina is one of endemic species woodlands in
mediterraneans areas and Syria , Wich is spreading principally in
Quercus ssp and pinus ssp comminuties. Those communities of
woodlands are suffered by multiple conditions as deforestation , so
these woodlands are accelerated to developing toward surbland
(maquis).
