The present study aimed at revealing the relationship between abnormal Family climate and some familial factors, as economic level of the family and educational level of the father and mother, to the Neuroticism among Public High School Students in Homs City. The sample of study consists of 290 students in some Public High School Students in Homs City. The researcher had used the following tools: The test of (abnormal Family climate) which Mario Rahhal had designed and the present researcher had re-normalized it to High School Students. And the scale of (Neuroticism) from the junior Eysenck personality Questionnaire which the present researcher had re-normalized it to High School Students.
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between social intelligence and creative thinking among secondary school students in Damascus, in addition to identifying the level of social intelligence and creative thinking among the students in t he research sample. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method. The study sample consisted of (74) students from secondary school students who were randomly selected. The study tools consisted of the first measure of social intelligence and the second measure of creative thinking. The researcher conducted the necessary statistical analysis to ascertain the psychometric characteristics of the research tools on the one hand and to verify the validity of the hypotheses on the other hand. The results were as follows: 1. There is a significant correlation between social intelligence and creative thinking among high school students (first secondary) 2. There are statistically significant differences in social intelligence among high school students due to the difference in sex (male - female) in favor of females. 3. There are no statistically significant differences in creative thinking among high school students due to gender differences (male - female). In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of preparing some activities and exercises that help to develop social intelligence in high school students and to find courses that promote and stimulate the skills of intelligence and thinking, especially social intelligence and creative thinking. The study also recommended that the teacher focus on presenting his material on skills Interpretation, analysis, flexibility, fluency and originality so that students can acquire creative thinking skills
The current study aims at recognizing the role resulting from the absence of the father in the light of the current crisis in appearing both shyness and fear of school among a sample of students in basic education in the city of Homs
The present study aimed at revealing the relationship between problem solving styles, Neuroticism and some variables as gender and specialization among secondary school students. The sample of study consists of 250 students (117 males, 133 females ) in some High School Students in Homs City. The researcher has used the following tools: The test of (problem solving styles) which the present researcher had designed, involved following scales: rational problem solving styles, Impulsivity style , Avoidance style. The study sam ple composed of (1020) students of them (440) male and (580) female, they have selected from five schools of secondary schools, representing geographic areas of the city of Homs. The researcher adopted in the study on the tool to collect data, a questionnaire prepared by the researcher is composed of 45 items distributed in three dimensions: planning, teaching, classroom management, and personality traits.
