The cherry fruit is classified to be after the apple fruit according to its economic importance and the cherry tree is firstly considered economically important due to its continuous and plentiful bearing if it’s provided with all requirements and techniques for the suitable agriculture and its needs from irritation and fertilizer are medium. The aim of the research was to study the costs of production cherry with a comparison between some economic indicators for each of the cherry rainfed and irrigated cherry. Results showed that the cost of one hectare from irrigated cherry was higher by about 3 times than the cost of one hectare of rainfed due to the raise in the cost of irrigation. The study also showed that the profits of the irrigated profits exceeded that of the rainfed cherry by about 2 times since the productivity of the irrigated hectare is two folds more than the productivity of the rainfed hectare. It was also shown that the effect of variable time on the space was positive, changes in the spaces resulting from the effect of time was 95%, while the effect of time on both the production and the yield was negative. The relationship between time and all of the production and yields was weak (8%).
The main objective of this study was to describe economic and econometric analysis of cost functions of rain-feed barley production in the northern region from Syria and determine the economically efficient size and the profitmaximizing size, Prim ary data collected in (2010) through research interviews with farmers were used. Farms in the rainfed areas in. the northern region were divided according to stabilization zones (1, 2, 3 and 4), Through the descriptive economic analysis of costs of production of Farms in the rainfed areas in the northern region were divided according to stabilization zones (1, 2, 3 and 4), Through the descriptive economic analysis of costs of production of Barley, it was shown that the highest average cost of production of one dunum in the northern region was 1859.3 sp. in zone (1) and the lowest average cost of production of one dunum was 1694.5 sp. in zone (4), From the analysis of costs and returns, the results indicated that the highest net return (profit) in the northern region was 650.43 sp./dunum in zone (1), and the lowest net return (profit) was 395.2 sp./dunum. in zone (3) Also, the results of the descriptive economic analysis indicated that the lowest average cost of production of 1 kg of barley was 8.3 sp. in zone (1 and 2), and the highest average cost of production of 1 kg of oil was 9.3 sp. in zone (4), Using the econometric models of cost functions, the economically efficient size and the profit-maximizing size were computed and determined for each zone, indicating that farmers' practices were too far from these sizes based on the econometric analysis; namely the economically efficient size and the profit-maximizing size. Also the results indicated that the economically efficient acreage size was 35.8 dunum in zone (4), which was less than the actual area of this region.
The research aimed to estimate the total cost, medium and marginal cost, volumes and economic optimization production of rain feed lentil in the first zone of Aleppo governorate using econometric models. Linear regression analysis of a single equa tion was applied to explain the relationship between amount of production as an independent variable and the value of production costs as the dependent variable.
The research study was conducted in Hama Governorate during the agricultural season of 2010 - 2011 through a stratified random sample of 201 farmers who cultivate irrigated durum wheat in the research area in order to measure the yield gap, the pr oductive efficiency divergence among farmers and to determine the effect of using different amounts of the productive factors in the production process. It also aimed to determine the contribution level of these factors in the gap formation, as well as to determine the production phase in which farmers of the sample stand. Descriptive analysis methodology in addition to the multiple regression technique were used to estimate production functions. Results showed a yield gap up to 32.6% between farmers in the first phase and those who are in the fourth phase. The reason why productivity in large size farms was higher than in small size farms that the second production stage, the profitable one occurred in large size farms, while the first production phase occurred in small economic capacity farms. So, another combination of the production inputs can be used in order to reach a marginal product value which equals the price value and to increase the production level plus the productivity of the farmers in the research area.
This research was carried out during the period 2013, 2014 in (Safsafa area - Tartous governorate) with the aim of studying the economics of olive production in general to propose a policy aimed at improving the productive and economic conditions of the olive crop in Syria, as well as investigating the problems and difficulties facing the olive crop with the help of modern technologies such as remote sensing and systems Geographical information to increase the accuracy of the statistical number and at the lowest possible material and time cost.
