الحية الفيتامين A . طورت طريقة جديدة لتعيين الكاروتينـات و مماكباتهـا الهندسـية باسـتخدام تقانـة
الكروماتوغرافيا السائلة ذات الأداء العالي من أجل التعيين الأمثل لما يحتويه زيت النخيل من هذا المركب.
درس في هذا البحث عدد من الأطوار الثابتة المنخفضة لفصل المماكبات الآتية:
كاروتين – β – Cis -13 ، كاروتين – β – Cis -9 ، كاروتين- β -Trans
و تم الحصول على أفضل النتائج باستعمال الأعمدة المحشوة بهيدروكسيد الكالسيوم باسـتخدام طـور
متحرك من نظامي الهكسان أو ايزو الأوكتان أو مزيج منهما.
An HPLC separation of the geometric isomers of β-carotene was developed
to evaluate the Provitamin A content of Palm oil . Different stationary phases
were studied, the best separation of all-trans-, 9-cis- and 13-cis-β-carotene were
obtained with calcium hydroxide columns using isocratic elution . Eluent was nhexane
or isooctane or mixtures of them. These techniques were used to
determine the provitamin A content of palm oil .
