The current study aimed to get acquainted with the students' opinions about their capacity for using what they have learnt in the literature subject in life situations. This is achieved through teaching literature to the control group by using the traditional method, and teaching it to the first experimental group by using the functional method which is based on connecting the piece of information to the environment and reality of students, drawing their attention with what they learn and meeting their knowledge needs through presenting the study topics as problems which draw the attention of students and push them to analyze such problems and achieve various solutions to them. The present study aimed to identify the degree of use of the second episode of Teachers of basic education for innovations in teaching technology education curricula , and know the impact of each of the variables ( academic qualifications , teachi ng experience , competence ) in determining their point of view. Was used to identify targeted at teachers second episode as a tool to verify the research hypotheses , has sample consisted of ( 280 ) and school teacher were randomized from the research community represented by all teachers of the second episode in the schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in the city of Damascus, where he was selected teachers ( 26) School in the city of Damascus and the percentage of representation (12%).
The present study aimed to explore the degree of employment of teachers of the second cycle of basic education of modern education techniques in education from their point of view in Damascus, namely Al-Mezzeh. The sample consisted of (186) teacher s and teachers (79 teachers and 107 teachers) The study was a questionnaire by the researcher. The study reached the following results: 1- The degree of employment of modern technologies was a medium. 2-Data show technology ranked highest, followed by computer technology, followed by Internet technology. 3- There are no differences between the average score of the study sample members (males, females) in the use of modern technologies. 4- There are no differences between the average grades of the sample of the study according to the type of school (boys, girls).
The study has intended to find out the degree of competences of using instructional technology for the teachers of Arabic language in the second level of the basic learning within the schools of Damascus city and the extent of its application. In or der to achieve the study's purposes, the researcher designed a questionnaire including 24 statements targeting the teachers of Arabic language. The questionnaire includes three parts: the choice of instructional technology, the scope of using instructional technology and the area of using learning devices. The study was reviewed and proved then applied to a sample of 163 teachers (60 males and 103 females). The Results of the study have revealed that the scope of instructional technology competences and application was high in all fields. The study has concluded that there are differences in the average degrees of the study sample (male, female) regarding the competences and application of instructional technology in favor of males. Also, there are differences between the average degrees of members of the study sample depending on years of experience in favor of experience years from 1 to 5.
The research aimed at recognising the Common Errors in mathematics among Grade Seven students in basic education in the Governorate of Homs, and the most important reasons of these Common Errors, in addition, it aimed to put a group of suggestions that might be used for correcting or minimizing such errors. The plan has been applied to 217 male and female grade seven students in basic education during the school year 2016-2017. The researcher analysed the contents of unit two topics in mathematics book for grade seven in basic education in the Syrian Arab Republic.
