after the use of systemic chemotherapy pre- and post surgery the management of malignant bone tumors have been changed and the rate of survival has improved up to more than 65%, and in some studies more than 75%. The Limb Salvage Surgery is now the standard treatment of malignant bone tumors, especially in the lower limb In the last three decades, the use of prosthesis has sharply risen in the world in order to have good functional results and better life Aims: introducing the serious complications of tumor prosthesis by analysing of 342 cases followed for 10 years.

We reviewed sixty patients, who had metastatic fractures, they were
treated in Al Moassat Hospital during the years: 1994-1995-1996. The
location of fractures were:
51 in upper third of the femur
3 in proximal humerus
2 in scapula
2 in tibia
2
in different positions
We studied the methods of treatment, complications and postoperative
survival.

In this study, we have discu
ssed one of the most modern methods of the Treatment of the Aneurysm of the Abdominal Aorta using the internal prosthesis through the artery. This has been achieved via the femoral artery. We also identified the prosthesis patterns and the used methods to get through those arteries as well as identifying the main indications and the importance of selecting the suitable patients regarding their age and health status.
We also carried out a comparison among many International studies involving the development and usage of this technology worldwide.
Indeed this therapy involves high material cost but the results prove its importance in rescuing many patients' lives that are classified to be in high rescue within traditional surgery.
Kikuchi’s disease called also Kikuchi- Fujimoto’s disease or Histiocytic
necrotizing lymphadenitis is a rare entity. It is a self-limiting process of
unknown etiology first reported in Japanese literature separately by
Kikuchi and Fujimoto in 1972
. Then similar cases have subsequently been
reported throughout the world.
We reported a case of Kikuchi's disease in a. 38-year-old man presenting
with generalized lymphadenopathy and persistent fever throughout more
than 2 months. It’s the first case was diagnosed in Al muwasat University
Hospital in Syria.
We reviewed the literature to summarize and report the most common
clinical, laboratory and histology characteristics of Kikuchi- Fujimoto’s
disease.

important in resolving , if the cell

Systemic mastocytosis (SM) is a rare malignant neoplasia,
which can create bone complications. The most frequent of those
is secondary osteoporosis, sometimes responsible for fractures,
especially of the rachis. We report the case of a 53 year-old
woman with 3 non-traumatic lombar fractures, leading to the
diagnosis of SM, after bone marrow trephine biopsy. We describe
the different types of bone involvement in MS, their
physiopathology, their diagnosis and treatment, with help of a
bibliographic review.
