يرتبط نقص فيتامين د بالإصابة بالعديد من الأمراض منها تلين العظام و الداء القلبي الوعائي و بعض الأمراض المناعية الذاتية، و قد أظهرت دراسات عدة شيوع نقصه في العديد من بلدان العالم و لاسيما المجاورة لسورية.
يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة المستويات المصلية ل 25 هيدروكسي فيتامين د 3 لدى عينة من السوريين الأصحاء بسبب نقص المعلومات حول واقع فيتامين د في بلادنا.
Hypovitaminosis D is linked to osteomalacia , cardiovascular disease and some
autoimmune diseases. Many studies showed that hypovitaminosis D is common worldwide, especially in
the neighboring countries.
The aim of this study is to determine serum concentrations of 25 hydroxyvitamin D3 in healthy Syrians,
since vitamin D status in Syria is unknown.
