this study was carried out during summer 2014 in Siano Research Station- the Agricultura Research Center in Lattakia . Four varieties of Cowpea: Dolicho (entrance), Blackey (entrance), Almaarefa (Local) and local cultivar were planted and compared concerning the vegetative growth , productivity and quality of green pods. The results showed the superiority of Almaarefa cultivar in some vegetative traits :plant hieght (166.66) cm compared with local cultivar 116.58 cm ,number of leaves on plant and( 27) leaves and( 17) leaves for local cultivar, and plant leaves area( 7840.23) cm2 for Almaarefa comparing with( 4499.75) cm2 for local cultivar As well as it had a maximum pod length( 16.71) cm and highest grain number of pod( 9.44) ,while Blackey cultivar was the most superior comparing with other cultivars in productivity( 0.6229) kg \ m 2 and pod's number/m2 ( 81.069) Whereas Almaarefa had the lowest productivity( 0.4935) kg/m2 and lowest pod's number ( 65.89)pod/m2. The results also showed that the local cultivar had the most vitamin C content comparing with other cultivars by( 23.765%) and in dry matter by (15.38%) , while there was no significant differences between protein green pods content.

The research was performed in AL-Gab region, Hama Province during the agricultural season 2012-2013. The investigation was carried out to assess five varieties of muskmelon from central Asia "Gezel Zametsha, Ak Gorbek, Pakeraman, Kara Kaon, Ak Kash ", plus control (Ananas Hollar) The results showed that two varieties "Ak Kash and Kara Kaon " had better leaf area, while the variety of "Ak Gorbek" had more number of feminine blossoms on the plant and higher percentage of node blooms. "Kara Kaon" Which gave high productivity 6850 Kg/Dunm in comparison with the control 4724 Kg/Dunm to "Ananas Hollar". A strong Correlation link had been found out between the area of leaf surface and productivity. The number of feminine blossoms and the percentage of the node productive blooms. But a strong negative link was found between the number of picked fruit and average weight of the fruit.
This investigation was conducted at the Pome and grapevine Division in Sweida governorate in 2014-2015. Four introduced pear cultivars (Anjou, Bartlett, Red Bartlett and Beurre Bosc) were studied, through fruiting and growth organs, fertility, average of fruit weight, and the yield at P< 0,05.
This study was carried out at AL-Rasheedia Agricultural Research Station ,Ninevah, to evaluate five radish cultivars, during fall seasons (1997-1998) and (1998-1999) . Results showed significant differences among the different cultivars. The cult ivar Black (Rabeea) was superior to other cultivars in number of leaves/ plant, root diameter, weight, and total yield /donum, which were 11.81, 9.22 (cm), 382.91 (gram), and 11.67 ton/ donum respectivelly. The April Cross cultivar gave the highest root length and foliar weight. Significant correlation was observed between cultivars. Yield was significantly correlated with root weight, number of leaves per plant and foliar weight. The root weight was positively correlated with its diameter, and number of leaves per plant.
A field experiment was conducted for two consecutive seasons 2006 – 2007 and 2007 – 2008 to investigate the effect of removing early developed buds on growth, yield and some lint proprieties. Treatments involved in the experiment included three le vels of bud removal (0%, 50%, and 100%) at three times (one, two and three weeks after budding). The treatments were arranged in FRCBD, with three replications. Growth parameters (plant height, number of nodes/plant, number of leaves/plant, and number of branches/plant) cotton seed yield, lint yield and lint properties were investigated. The results revealed that bud removal significantly increased plant height, number of nodes, cotton seed yield and lint yield, uniformity (UR) and lint strength (HVI). Also the results showed that, time of bud removal significantly affected growth parameters, cotton seed yield and lint cotton. The results indicated that, varieties and time of bud removal interaction had a significant affect on growth parameters. While, percentage of bud removal and time of bud removal interaction had a significant effect only on cotton seed yield and strength of lint. The results showed that, there were significant difference between cultivars in plant height and number of branches per plant, with cultivar Barakat – 90 the best.
The investigation was conducted during 2013-2014 in Al-Moroj - Baniyas - Tartous. The effect of grafting cucumber (Hybrid Amir F1 and Potenza F1) on (TZ 148 F1) rootstock on growth and production was studied. The experiment contained 4 treatments (ungrafted Amir F1 and Potenza F1, and grafted ones on Cucurbita hybrid). The results showed that grafted cucumber (Amir F1) on (TZ 148 F1) was significantly superior to other treatments in leaf area (15368.79 cm2.plant-1) and total production (21.58 kg .m-2). Grafting cucumber (Potenza F1) on (TZ148 F1) leaded to a significant decrease in each of plant height (113.25 cm), number of secondary branches (7.5 branch . plant-1), number of female flowers (94.13 flower . plant-1), number of fruits (38.13 fruit . plant-1) and total production (14.61 kg .m-2). The earliness in grafted cucumber (Amir F1 and Potenza F1) on (TZ 148 F1) (0.19 and 0.28 kg .m-2 respectively) was significantly decreased compared to ungrafted plants (0.43 and 0.54 kg .m-2 respectively). Grafting on (TZ 148 F1) didn't affected the fruit qualitative characteristics.
