The study aimed to investigate the degree of social studies teachers’ practice of map skills in the upper elementary stage at UNRWA schools in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (72) teachers; (32) male teachers comprising (44%) and (40) female teachers comprising (56%). For the purpose of conducting the study the researcher developed a survey questionnaire consisting of (55) items distributed among seven domains as follows: (selecting the right map, displaying the map, presenting the map, understanding the map, using the map in assessment, protecting the map from damage and directing the map).
The purpose of the research The degree of practicing English teachers in Damascus is based on the skills of scientific thinking in their classrooms, as well as the differences in the degree of practicing these skills according to gender variables a nd the number of years of teaching experience. The sample consisted of (62) teachers, They were chosen by the sample of the sample from the schools in Damascus city and applied the measure of scientific thinking skills prepared by the researcher after verifying his sincerity and stability. The results indicated that: 1. The present research aimed to identify the extent of the practice of science teachers for creative thinking skills in teaching students basic sixth grade in the city of Lattakia, according to the variables: educational qualification. The applicatio n note card prepared by the researcher; to identify creative thinking skills included (30) items, and is divided into four axes: fluency, flexibility, originality, and expansion. The research sample has been selected randomly, and applied the note card on (30) teachers for the academic year 2016/ 2017, and descriptive method was used.
