لقد أدى دخول الحاويات قطاع النقل البحري إلى ازدحام الموانئ البحرية و بالتالي بدأ التفكير بنقل جزء من الأنشطة التي تتم على أراضيها إلى الداخل، مما أدى إلى البحث عن مكمل للمرفأ البحري فظهرت فكرة المرفأ الجاف. ركزت جميع الأبحاث العالمية في السنوات الأخيرة على دراسة تأثير هذا المرفأ على شبكة النقل اللوجستي و البحث عن الموقع الأفضل له، و بناء على ذلك جاء هذا البحث لدراسة تأثير موقع المرفأ الجاف المزمع إنشاؤه في منطقة حسياء الصناعية على شبكة النقل السورية الطرقية و السككية، و نظرا لما تقدمه نظم المعلومات الجغرافية من إمكانية كبيرة تساعد على إيجاد انسب الحلول و اتخاذ أفضل القرارات، فقد استعان البحث بال GIS للوصول إلى نتائج البحث و التي جاءت على الشكل التالي: أن وجود المرفأ الجاف يزيد من كفاءة نظام النقل و بالتالي يخفض كلفة و زمن النقل، و كذلك أن منطقة حسياء الصناعية مؤهلة بنسبة 70 % لإنشاء مرفأ جاف ضمنها، و أن المنطقة الشرقية هي المنطقة الأمثل لإقامة مرفأ جاف ضمن الأراضي السورية.
The appearance of revolutionary containerization utilized by maritime transport
sector has led to congested seaports. A transfer of a portion of the activities performed
inside was suggested. A complement to the sea port became desired, which created the idea
of a dryport. We studied the effect of the dryport’s site, planned to be constructed in Hassia
industrial city, on the Syrian transport network. We used geographic information systems
(GIS) to get the results due potential assistance. Study shows that a dryport increases the
efficiency of the transport system, thus reducing the cost and time of transport.
Furthermore, Hassia industrial city is especially qualified to establish a dryport, and the
eastern region would be the optimal region for such an establishment.
