تعبر الخلايا اللمفاوية الّتائية عن جزيئات محرضة، مثل 1-B7 في بعض الحالات الفيزيزلوجية و المرضية، و لكن لم يتم حّتى تاريخه تقصي قدرة هذه الخلايا على تفعيل ذاتها.
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى اختبار إمكانية تعزيز تفعيل الخلايا الّتائية و تحسين تكاثرها في الزجاج و في الحي، و ذلك باعتماد تقنية لا جيّنية تعتمد الطلاء الخارجي لسطوح اللمفاويات التائية بالبروتين 1-B7 المأشوب بعد اقترانه بالبروتين A المنغرز في الغشاء الخلوي بذيلٍ من البالميتات/النخلات.
أجريت هذه الدراسة في مخابر كلية الطب بجامعة بنسلفانيا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و مخابر الهيئة العامة للتقانة الحيوية في دمشق في المدة الواقعة بين 2010-2012.
