Because environmental conditions in our region, and the amounts of sunlight that is one of the highest in the world, was expected to take advantage of these rays and exploitation of buildings lighting during the day, and employ alternative energy production as a source, however, we see a lot of buildings rely on artificial lighting during the hours of the day. And the required lighting levels vary according to the architectural content and functionality of the spaces. The drawing rooms at the Faculty of Architecture of the blanks that require high amounts of lighting. The research aims to study the effect of design factors on the optical performance of the drawing rooms in the College of Architecture -Tishreen University. And determine the form of architectural vacuum, with a range of processor architectures to reach the minimum acceptable for natural lighting.

Architectural design subject is the backbone of the architectural education curriculum. Moreover, the outcome of architectural design subject of first year is the base that will form the students’ architectural thinking and skills in the upper leve ls. In this research, the author is attempting to examine architectural design educators' views (36 teachers) of the First Year on the subjects of design education and the design process. Since students' views are very important in formulating an educational model of the design process, the author will also collect some students' views (114 students) from architecture faculty, where he is employed at the University of Damascus. The Study reveals several suggestions for improving the design methodology for architectural design education in general and in first year in specific.
This piece of research tends to acknowledge the degree of sufficiency that environment and material needs of the students of education at the Facutly of Education are met. It adopts the analytical and descriptive method. Thus, a special questionnai re including (66) points distributed over many significant fields: public location of the building, public safety, public health, public services, pollution, academic spaces and specialist environment to each student, special lecturehalls and seats, projectors and library—has been prepared and targeted a selected specimen of students. This questionnaire has been targeted a randomly selected specimen that included 150 students (fe/males) divided between the two divisions: the educational (Classromm Tutor and Methods), and the psychological (Pschological Monitoring), with special reference to variants of gender and teaching unit. This study concludes with the fact that the extent of meeting the environmental and material expectations of the students of Faculty of Eduation, University of Tishreen has been medium; there exist no statistical differences among the respionses of the specimen students with reference to the variants of gender and teaching unit. In the light of the findings, it seems that the material environment plays a key role in formulating the personality of students, and shaping their future. Undoubtedly, this is so important since it stands as one basic input in the teaching process, and contributes to providing knowledge to mankind, and investing in man as human capital who participates in progessing and improving society, and having an acess to the welfare of human being. Henceforward, with the progess of the theories of education, it is so essential to adapt the academic career to the latest teaching requirements, and the modern eduation tendencies including various activities, improving the teacher-students relationship and opening channels with the outer world.
Exam ) objective tests) have an important role in the evaluation of student's intended learning outcomes, and estimates the level of their meeting of the sought goals. Therefore, the skill of formulating exam tests is one of the main criteria that should be within criteria of the evaluation quality. An objective test is one of the sorts that offers a student with a number of answers to a question or solutions to a problem, and then the student should identify (recognize) the right answer or solution to these questions. They are called "Objective Tests" because they are objectively corrected, in other meaning, its correction doesn't differ from one evaluator to another. Because the importance of formulating this type of questions and scarcity of researches concerned this idea. This research aimed to evaluate the achievement of the formulated objective tests for formulated objective test conditions. The taken research sample was the final written exam (second term) which represented the courses of the four years that are taught by faculty staff members at Nursing Faculty for the academic year 2014 -2015. The sample was consisted of 719 multiple-choice question, 248 True/False item, and 21 Match item. The most significant findings were: the faculty members followed the conditions of formulating stem in multiple-choice questions with the need to pay attention to language clarity and accuracy. In addition, they followed the conditions in formulating alternatives in multiple-choice tests, and follow all test-type formulation conditions for True/False items, with relying heavily on multiple-choice questions and True/False items, while relying on the test of match items (proportionality) type was very few.
This study aims at identifying the extent to which the postgraduate students in the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Damascus possess the skills of using the computer by measuring their ability in using the computer according to the following fields: (Computer skills, computer skills, operating system skills, skills of using ready software, and skills of using the information network and the Internet). A special questionnaire was constructed to achieve the objectives of the study and presented to a group of competent arbitrators with the expertise to verify its validity and consistency. , Where the stability coefficient (0.94) was also used, and the Statistical Package Program (SPSS) was used to analyze the data Finally, the study led to a number of results which, in turn, led to some suggestions that could benefit computer workers, professionals and specialists in college, university and society.
The study aimed to assess the clinical supervision from viewpoint of students of Nursing Faculty in Tishreen University. The study sample consisted of 350 students, randomly selected from the students of Nursing Faculty in The four academic years, who were existed during the period of data collection. The researcher developed the tool of assessing clinical supervision depending on up-to date references, and the tool consisted of three axis: axis of training process management, educational axis, and supportive or motivation axis & students' satisfaction with clinical supervision. The main results of the study were there was a few difference between negative and positive viewpoints of students toward supervision on them in clinical training. Whereas, students' assessment was more positive in axis of training process management, while it was more negative in the remaining axis (educational axis, supportive or motivation axis, and students' satisfaction with clinical supervision.
