The current study aims to discover the relationship between the patterns of family upbringing and the control center for a sample of first year high school students at public high schools. It also aims to determine whether there are any differences between females and males in methods of family upbringing on the one hand and knowing these differences in the control center based on the gender variable. In order to achieve the goal of this study, a sample of 372 students (183 male students – 189 female students) was selected randomly from the first year high school at public schools in the city of Damascus. They underwent the family upbringing test and Router's local control center test. The study has yielded a number of results, the most important of which are: There is a connective relationship of statistical indication among a number of family upbringing patters such as the independency and local control pattern, the acceptance and local control pattern. The study has also shown that over-protectiveness leads to low control center. There are differences of statistical indications between males and females in the independency pattern in favor of males, and differences between males and females in the protection pattern in favor of females.

The present study aimed at revealing the relationship between abnormal Family climate and some familial factors, as economic level of the family and educational level of the father and mother, to the Neuroticism among Public High School Students in Homs City. The sample of study consists of 290 students in some Public High School Students in Homs City. The researcher had used the following tools: The test of (abnormal Family climate) which Mario Rahhal had designed and the present researcher had re-normalized it to High School Students. And the scale of (Neuroticism) from the junior Eysenck personality Questionnaire which the present researcher had re-normalized it to High School Students.
The goal of this study was to identify the sort of identity and its relation to some personality traits. The study sample consisted of 500 students of second secondary school students in Damascus schools for the academic year 2016-2017. The researcher used the objective test of the methods of confronting the identity crisis and the list of five major factors.
This study aims to identify the relationship between self- Consciousness and the irrational thoughts and how this relationship may vary on the basis of sexual differentiation. The sample of the study consists of (330) students from the first second ary class (150 male, 180 female). The study has used the self- Consciousness scale (Fenigstein, et.al., 1975) and the irrational thoughts scale (Al-mougharbel, 2010). The findings indicate that there is a statistically significant relationship between the private and the public selfconsciousness along with the irrational thoughts. In addition, there are differences in self- Consciousness resulting from sexual differentiation and are in favor of females. This research aims at present to detect the relationship between Achievement Motivation and Aggressive behavior among a sample of first-grade students of secondary , and the study of the differences between the sexes ( male and female ) in the resear ch variables ( achievement motivation, aggressive behavior). And the research community of the secondary schools of government in the city of Jaramana , who are students in the first grade of secondary ( 15-17 years) , has been withdrawn sample randomly , which amounted to (100 ) students (50 males +50 females) , and the researcher used the following tools: 1 - a measure of achievement motivation, 2 - a measure of aggressive behavior, after that she has tested Validity and reliability, The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method so as to its relevance to the nature of the research, she has developed a set of hypotheses and Results came as following : 1 - The total prevalence of aggressive behavior in the first grade of secondary moderately. 2- The total prevalence of achievement motivation in the first grade of secondary hilgly 3There is a statistically significant relationship between the aggressive behavior and achievement motivation among a sample Search . 4 - There were statistically significant differences in the aggressive behavior depending on gender for the sample of the male.5 - There are statistically significant differences in self-concept depending on the gender for the sample of the females. In light of these results the researcher presented a set of proposals was the most important for further studies and research on aggressive behavior and its relationship to some psychological variables in the various stages of education (primary , university ) and the need to develop outreach programs designed to give teenagers the methods proper to learn positive behaviors correct and that lead help raise the level of motivation to accomplish them.
The present study aimed at revealing the relationship between problem solving styles, Neuroticism and some variables as gender and specialization among secondary school students. The sample of study consists of 250 students (117 males, 133 females ) in some High School Students in Homs City. The researcher has used the following tools: The test of (problem solving styles) which the present researcher had designed, involved following scales: rational problem solving styles, Impulsivity style , Avoidance style. And The scale of (Neuroticism) from the junior Eysenck personality Questionnaire which the present researcher had developed it to High School Students.
