The objective of this work is to study and design a module of super capacitors for recovering the braking energy in trolleybuses. The module of super capacitors is charged and discharged by Buck-Boost converter that is reversible in current. The control and the smoothing elements of the converter are designed with taking into account the non-linear nature of super capacitors. To recover quickly the braking energy, the module is charged with constant current, while the discharging is done with constant voltage on the DC link of trolleybus. The module of super capacitors in its different operations (starting up, powering auxiliary equipments, braking) is simulated in the SIMPLORER environment. As a result, the different operating values (as voltage, current and temperature) are determined for the elements of the studied module (diodes, IGBTs, capacitor, super capacitors). Finally, the failure rate and the reliability of the module elements are estimated depending on the different operating factors. The module faults is analyzed.

Batteries are energy storage devices that are particularly useful for powering small portable devices like phones, laptops and entertainment devices as well as mobility devices that travel over the earth's surface, through water and air. During the night, or during a period of low solar irradiation, energy is supplied to the load from the battery in solar electrical Power Systems, and that provides Continuity of power supply, and on the other hand boosts the Reliability of the system.
This paper treats the issue of wind energy storage, mechanically, using the flywheel device. We control the speed of the wind turbine and the flywheel by means of traditional PID controllers. These controllers are designed depending on the system m odel and its parameters. Speed control is achieved by electromagnetic rotor flux orientation as called vector control. Speed reference value of the wind turbine will be generated in order to track the maximum power point. The flywheel reference speed is generated based on a second order filter of power which is considered as a new contribution in this field of research. Frequency converters are not modeled but we only consider the control strategy. The results of modeling and simulation in Matlab satisfy the power smoothing issue and reflect the importance of this study.
The Virtualization is the main structure, and the most important component from the others cloud computing components. Due to the features which are produced only from the virtual environment, such as flexibility, cost, energy saving, and the optim al usage of the resources, most business companies and the governments look ahead for deploying their services and applications on virtual severs instead of the physical ones. That point made the researchers heading toward performance comparing through different virtual environments. For reaching the best possible environment which is suitable to be used in the cloud computing, and to get the high performance computing. We described the effect evolution of the virtual environment on the high performance computing as a service, through changing the type of the used virtual environment in the infrastructures. We used the virtual environment XEN-PV ( XEN-Paravirtualization) as an infrastructures for the high performance. Lastly, I used the XEN-HVM (XEN HardWare virtual machine ), XEN is the main hypervisor in Citrix company and the performance has been evaluated by using DRBD as a shared storage of virtual disk. The results of our researches proved that both the virtual environment, and the selected clustering charts have a visible, important role in the performance of the “The high performance computing”.
In this paper, we use NCTUns 6.0 to simulate this kind of networks ,because it is difficult to do that is the real world .In this paper, two routing protocols (AODV, ADV) are studied within many scenarios to achieve their performances and reliabi lity using many metrics. We conclude that ADV routing protocol adapts quickly when the complexity of network and mobility of nodes increase. This is achieved by varying the size and frequency of routing updates.
The target of this study is improving the electrical power systems performance estimation because of its importance in complex modern networks investment that have a lot of advanced equipments. Having a complete representation of the electrical sy stem makes diagnosis thing much accurate and reliable which is used in electrical networks operation and maintenance. We focus in this research on implying different conditions and factors which affect operation and we use fuzzy petri nets for that purpose because of its characteristics in handling with incomplete and uncertainty data . we make our simulation on a real diagram of a refinery to compute its truth degree and discuss the results , we match that adding changing factors at operation contribute in improving networks estimation accuracy and support decisionmaking process .
