to compare the anesthetic efficacy of 4% Articaine
HCL with 2% Lidocaine HCL, both with epinephrine 1:100,000, in
truncal block of the inferior alveolar nerve during the surgical
extraction of impacted lower third molars.
We performed this study aimed to compare the sensitivity of
parasite detection by microscopic examination in samples collected
by conventional technique and samples collected after local
anesthetic with lidocaine and adrenaline of the same lesions in
patients with suspected leishmaniasis.
Background: Lidocaine had shown to inhibit neural conduction and antiinflammatory
properties. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of using
intravenous lidocaine with general anesthesia drugs on opioids and inhaled anesthesics
cons
umption during surgery and the require of analgesics after surgery.
Setting: This study was carried out in the department of anesthesia and reanimation
at Tishreen University Hospital, Lattakia, Syria during 2017-2018.
Type of study: Double-blinded randomized comparative study.
