Mapping user locations to countries can be useful for many applications such as dialect identification, author profiling, recommendation system, etc. Twitter allows users to declare their locations as free text, and these user-declared locations are
often noisy and hard to decipher automatically. In this paper, we present the largest manually labeled dataset for mapping user locations on Arabic Twitter to their corresponding countries. We build effective machine learning models that can automate this mapping with significantly better efficiency compared to libraries such as geopy. We also show that our dataset is more effective than data extracted from GeoNames geographical database in this task as the latter covers only locations written in formal ways.
Achieving the intended purpose of the local administration requires carful selection of the
elements assigned to work in local units, which requires that those elements are aware of
local reality and have sufficient technical expertise. In the cont
ext of the inability of the
method used in forming local councils to achieve the objectives of local administration, the
jurisprudence and legislation differ in determining the method to be followed within the
priority of those objectives and within the political ،economic ،and social reality in each country.
Where some systems tend to adopt the election in selecting the members of local councils ,
while others tend to adopt the method of appointing or the combination of (election and
appointing) methods in order to take the advantages of both methods . But, it is the need
and desire of prevailing legal system and the possibilities available , that determine the
method to be adopted.

The glassy carbon electrode has been used as working electrode,
to study the electrochemical behavior of Se(IV), by using anodic
stripping voltammetric method (ASV) in acidic media HCl. We
found that The reason for the absence of analytical signal
s
expressed on flow any electrodic process due to reduction
mechanism of Se(IV) on glassy carbon electrode from Se4+to Se2-
and formation H2Se.
A simple and rapid analytical method for routine quantification of Hyoscine
butyl bromide (scopolamine butyl bromide) in liquid oral formulations by highperformance
liquid chromatography was developed and validated. The oral
solution samples can be directly analyzed by reversed-phase HPLC on Intersil
ODS-3.
It is found that the ferric ions, as a catalyst, have a weak effect on the
oxidation of luminol "triaminophtal hydrazid" by (DPCA) and through chemiluminescence
reaction. For increasing the catalytic activity of ferric ions we
used organic and non
organic compounds. The best compound was o –
phenathroline. It forms two different complexes with ferric (A) and ferrous (B)
ions (A, B). The formation of hydrolyzed mixture of the complexes (Ph-Fe3+)
depends on the pH. We found that (Ph-Fe3+) complex was very effective in
chime-luminescence process above mentioned.
Ion selective electrode of Cu٢+ for determining of copper (II) in acid and
Ammonia Solutions is presented. Optimal conditions and main characteristics
of such electrode have been determined. The effect of anionic surfactants on the
electrode has b
een investigated. The use of protective film such as cellophane,
cellulose acetate, Lavsan, or nitro cellulose could be possible in order to avoid
the difficulties related to the work in surfactant presented in the solutions.
