The high traffic density causes traffic congestion on the road, causing delays before it reaches its destination, in addition to the stress and high psychological impact on the driver, it also results in staff and staff being late for work and studen
ts being late for school, With frequent accidents on these busy roads. Congestion has a lot of reasons, one of them is poor infrastructure that leads to a state of congestion, a significant increase in the number of vehicles, a lack of prior information for road users about the traffic situation, Division of traffic management into several departments (Public works, municipality, security, transport…). They become ineffective in some areas, aggressive driving style Which may be an effective factor in creating congestion, in addition to the use of individual transport rather than mass transport. Latakia suffers from a very poor transport system, and the indiscriminate movement of vehicles on its streets. This has been accompanied by increased traffic, which has led to many problems. The most important is the problem of congestion, in terms of increasing the values of delay times in different road sectors. This has contributed to major traffic crises and congestion. It affected service levels on arterial streets in the city's downtown, in the absence of rush-hour studies. Two main streets have been selected in the commercial and downtown center of Latakia City, which is an important arterial street for the distribution of movement. These arterial streets connect the commercial and administrative center of the city with the other parties of the city. The moving controller analyses a large number of actual speeds of the vehicle, measured in each sector, with a view to estimating congestion, calculating its indicators, and determining peak hours. Congestion levels were inferred based on the values of the speed performance index, and the average speeds of daytime and evening peak hours have been mapped to considered street sectors.
This Study presents results of experiments on smooth, thin square plates
with different central holes diameters to measure the drag coefficient of
flow through the plates.
The experiments were performed in a subsonic open wind tunnel at the
hydraulic laboratory, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of
Damascus.

understanding of damages caused by explosion load on elements of road bridges through
the facts of explosion and photographs the cases of damages occurring practical and
realistic, and also through some computer models.It has been in the research review the
impact of the blast load on the slab bridges. The distinction between the case of the impact
of the blast load at top and bottom of slab bridge. So the case of the bombing at the top
slab bridge leading to increase the binding moments and shear forces, in against the case of
blasting at the bottom of slab bridges leads to act opposite load for design loads. Also
studied blast load on bridge beams and illustrated resulting addional cross sections. Also
explained the effect of blast load on bridge piers and abutments, and the forms of caused
damages.
This research tackles important humanitarian issues, both old and new, dealt with by Al-Jahiz in his books and letters. The most important of which is the issue of intellectual freedom, mildness, and moderation. In the process of dealing with these m
atters, it became quite clear how Al- Jahiz was a humanitarian who persistently tried to find common ground and harmony between people as well as his continuous call not to turn variety and difference into conflict.
And so, Al-Jahiz became quite the advocate of intellectual freedom of his time, dismissing all that restrains him, in different venues of life, and believing in the importance of different opinions. Consequently, he established a culture on civilized conversation and rejected all kinds of fanaticism, extremism, sternness, and accusations of infidelity.
The research also attempts to delve deep down into Al-Jahiz’s intellect in the issues he tackled. It also tries to arrive at a reading of these issues in his texts. However, the research does not link Al-Jahiz’s intellect with the historical background or with the Mu’tazilah creed that made him glorify the mind making it his authority in every matter.
Finally, the research attributes Al-Jahiz’s intellect to his rare literary
genius that made him capable of approximating every creed to different kinds of minds.
The technical and economical indexes of most maritime companies in developed countries have improved due to the strict application of the administrative and technical regulations in order to operate their ships, especially after the International Saf
ety Management code (ISM) has come into force. With this in mind this paper studies the mechanisms of technical operation in Syrian maritime companies in order to have a realization of the actual reality of technical operations, and also to reach a better status. Data from various Syrian maritime companies are collected and assessed, from which several results are obtained which, when taken into consideration, are believed to lead to improving the technical, economic, and environmental circumstances surrounding the technical operation of ships in Syria. They will also lead to lessening the stoppages that result from malfunctions in these ships, and ultimately reaching a higher level of technical operation and achieving superior outcomes

في هذا البحث على بيان هذا المنهج الأصيل من خلال السنة المطهـرة و الحـديث النبـوي
الشريف فقط، و لم أتعرض لسائر التفصيلات في العبادات و غيرها، فلها بحث مستقل، و لـو
جعلته عاماً من خلال الكتاب و السنة لطال البحث.
